Even people that visit Palm SPrings often have never heard of this place. We found it when we were searching for something we hadn't done before in the area. This place has amazing charm, 50s architecture, and green grass (not too common in the desert). The free in-room breakfast was delicious. No restaurant on the grounds, but several are very... More

aesthetically pleasing, wonderfully landscaped, excellent service, ...you simply do not want to leave the premise for the duration of your vacation. Spent a few days in the middle of the week and it was a true oasis of peace, in the most wonderful surroundings.

After spending 4 nights in Palm Springs, in retrospect we were so glad to have chosen The Horizon. Not knowing the "lay of the land", we thought maybe we should be closer to town. The Horizon is just a short drive into town, and leaves behind it all the craziness of it! We hit all the hotels in town just... More

First class boutique hotel ... nothing else like it in Palm Springs!! Staff is very helpful, and the complimentary breakfast-to-your-room is ideal! Weekends can sometimes be noisy, depending on the pool-crowd, so if you want a quiet break, take advantage of lower mid-week pricing.

Wow - after arriving on a busy weekend in Palm Springs, it was refreshing to find a well-run, independent hotel, with an "above and beyond" front desk. Accommodating and welcoming sums it up. Super quiet, spread out rooms, all architecturally significant and nicely updated. Soon to be liquor license will add a nice touch of some on-premise food and beverage... More

We came back after a short stay last year and I was not disappointed - I love this hotel! I think this is the most relaxing place I have ever stayed. The grounds are immaculate, the rooms fresh, clean and bright and the delivered breakfast a nice touch. The pool area is so tranquil with the palms, piped music and... More

How did I not know of this little gem. These early 1950's modern bungalos and this whole resort in general is one of the things that makes Palm Springs so special. Although resort is not really the right word. This is much more like staying in an apartment which might not be what some people are looking for. There is... More

Spent four nights in palm springs at the horizon hotel. They've done a great job of retaining the feel of the place. Pool was a treat. Lack of kids made it very quiet and super-relaxing. Make sure you hike joshua tree and surrounding areas while you are in ps.

We went to the Horizon Hotel for one night in March 2013. We paid top dollar because it was Spring Break here in CA. We loved the arcitecture of the hotel. It was amazing to have all windows all the way around ( besides the wall that your bed is on). It was very quiet, very clean, and relaxing. The showers... More
