Palm Springs has never been at the top of my "quick escape from LA" list. I've typically chosen Terranea in Palos Verdes, or headed up to Ojai or Santa Barbara. Well, thanks to Korakia, I'm now a Palm Springs devotee. Korakia is centrally located. It sits a few streets back from Indian Canyon Drive and it's right around the corner... More

Korakia is serene and peaceful and not pretentious. We went to Korakia for my husbands birthday and were not disappointed. The weather was almost too hot but our room was nice and cool. The pool area was quiet even though all the chairs were occupied. The FREE breakfast they serve in the mornings was delicious. We'll definitely be taking another... More

This is my second stay at Korakia, and my group's fifteenth. This is the most charming, unique and relaxing little property in Southern California. Korakia provides the ultimate relaxation -- quiet poolside luxury in their intimate, vine-covered courtyards. Complimentary homemade breakfast each morning is an absolute treat, with a very kind and accommodating staff, and selection of one-of-a-kind rooms that... More

My stay at Korakia really exceeded my expectations. When I first walked in, I was a little shocked by the whole thing - no music by the pool, no televisions or phones in the rooms, the rooms were cave-style rooms, I wasn't sure I could last! But after a couple hours, I completely checked out and it felt amazing. The... More

Loved our stay. 3 nights of peace and quiet before 2nd child mayhem ensues. No frills, but outstanding and accommodating service. Our first time staying after multiple recs from friends. The rustic old world charm transported us back to the old country. We lounged by the pool, slept in, played Bocce ball, rode the free bikes to town for dinner,... More

Korakia is a pure dream. I'm a connoisseur of charming boutique hotels, and this one is quite possibly my favorite of any I've ever stayed in. It's filled to the brim with gorgeous details (fountains, Moroccan lanterns, little nooks to relax in)--every corner is a perfect snapshot. Not to mention, the buildings themselves are gorgeous. I read some reviews prior... More

We stayed here on the recommendation of friends. The place is ideally-located, just blocks from shopping and restaurants. Unfortunately there were a few things that need correcting. First of all, internet did not work in our room, which was across the street from the main hotel, which meant we needed to go into the breakfast area to download. Also, the... More

I stayed here 3 nights with my husband during the later Summer and we talk about that particular stay all the time. I wouldn't even think of giving another hotel in the area another chance because we fell for Korakia so hard. From the moment you walk into this place, you feel an absolute sense of home and welcome, but... More

Korakia Pensione is a soulful place meant to be experienced fully. The atmosphere especially the pool area on the Moroccan side is so relaxing you feel a million miles away from any stress in your life. This is not a posh hotel, it has character. I mean to say if you are looking for flat screen t.v.'s and 24 hr.... More

Even though this was only an overnight stay, I loved every minute of this beautiful place and could easily have stayed here longer! The place is welcoming and warm from the moment you step in. Enjoy sitting by the fire pit at night and/or take a relaxing dip in the pool. The place is within walking distance of restaurants and... More
