Now that we've discovered the Ingleside Inn, we just won't stay anywhere else. While other trendier spots are trying to revive the 1950s vibe through self-conscious efforts at "retro-ism," this place never moved on. If you want a boutique hotel experience, with tall palm trees and lush grounds, a lovely pool amidst a green, shaded lawn, stay here. It's easy... More

The ingelside inn is a charming original 1920's style hotel. Movie stars would come here from Hollywood and it retains the same feel. Staff have been here for decades and service is great. Check out the pool with large lawn, very quiet and perfect for lazy afternoons

OMG!!! Simply amazing hotel. We only stayed one night and wish we could have stayed a week! It was absolutely gorgeous with a beautifully decorated room with a sitting area with a fireplace, a gorgeous bathroom (especially the tiled shower) and our very own courtyard. Waiting for us upon arrival was a fruit, cheese and snack platter. Such a nice... More

This was my third stay. My room was more modern than the previous ones. The first time I stayed here they still had "steam showers" in every room. At bedtime, I realized I had forgotten my book, so picked up Mel's book in the room. If you're a fan of the hotel as I am, read the book. If you... More

It's handily located a block off the main drag, but it's so quiet and exclusive, without being garish, that you don't feel as though you are in the city. It has the old Hollywood feel, without being ostentatious, run down or tacky. The grounds are lovely. The pool is large. There is a very nice restaurant serving all day with... More

We stayed at the Ingleside Inn for two nights 3/17-3/18. Their attention to detail is really impressive. the grounds are kept immaculate. The rooms are older, it suppose to be that way. It reminds people of a bygone era. Everything is clean and in great shape. The welcome tray of goodies is stocked and fresh. Free sodas, juice and water... More

My wife and I visit the Ingleside Inn at least once a year....our romantic getaway! Each time seems to be better than the previous....Maybe because, Armida, Daniel and Hal remember us from previous visits....None the less.....highly recommended...you can't get any better than this, great staff, great company at the pool and walking distance to down town. See you next year!

Dark dismal rooms,no safe, plastic flowers,no view,no ironing board, poor lighting, poor wifi, etc. The only things that save this hotel is the pool area, the friendly staff, and the history/charm. But for that you would be high tailing it down the road. In the 2 rooms we stayed in room 7 backed on to an adjoining pool filter going all night and room 1 fronted... More

Normally, when a hotel says it has wifi and doesn't (in my room, at least), I go into a rant. But the Ingleside Inn is such a delightful throwback to a bygone era of Palm Springs glamour, I just don't care. (The hotel's ad for business conferences shows a photo of men gathered around an overhead projector, so that's a... More

The Ingleside Inn is like no other place. Hal at the reception desk was friendly and warm and couldn't do enough for us. When we arrived in our room a complimentary fruit and nut tray awaited us as well as complimentary sodas and waters that were in the frig.. And to top it all off there were two packs of... More
