Spent 4 days at the Inn and had a top notch time. Service is great and having dinner twice at Melvyns was fabulous. Everybody is 1st class and that's how you're treated. My wife and I got to meet Mel Haber (owner) and had we many things to share. Brian Ellis was there from the restaurant and we got treated royally.... More

We've stayed at the Inn many times. We always have a delightful time. The staff is terrific. We love going to Melvyn's for lunch and dinner. The bar is a throw-back to the old days. Cool, dark and the bar staff, especially David, is so friendly and accommodating. We just love this place. Stay there at least twice a year.... More

Loved the retro atmosphere and the room amenities with attention to details. The location was very convenient for a walk downtown and the staff was friendly and helpful with direction. The only letdown was the advertized wifi not working in the room. Regardless, personally I would always choose such a property over the anonymous luxury chains with no soul!

Such an amazing find! Arrived in Palm Springs with no reservations. We found this gem, boutique style hotel - sitting on the edge of the Palm Springs Desert Scape Mountains ... Excellent customer service, very old fashion feel And hospitality - we can't wait to come back ... We didn't get to visit the hotel restaurant but it was packed... More

"What began as a two day get away became a 4 day holiday..." If privacy and tranquility are what you seek, you will find it here. It is like being transported back in time to old Hollywood charm and style. We stayed in Villa One which is closest to the pool yet still very private. The peaceful and lush garden... More

I enjoyed the small intimate setting with tiny villas on the grounds. It was cool seeing photos all the celebrities who frequented the place. Our room was small, old style and comfortable, they provided fresh towels and clean sheets. The staff were all very friendly, the guests were mostly a mature crowd but very nice. Although, Melvyn's Restaurant is located... More

Now that we've discovered the Ingleside Inn, we just won't stay anywhere else. While other trendier spots are trying to revive the 1950s vibe through self-conscious efforts at "retro-ism," this place never moved on. If you want a boutique hotel experience, with tall palm trees and lush grounds, a lovely pool amidst a green, shaded lawn, stay here. It's easy... More

The ingelside inn is a charming original 1920's style hotel. Movie stars would come here from Hollywood and it retains the same feel. Staff have been here for decades and service is great. Check out the pool with large lawn, very quiet and perfect for lazy afternoons

OMG!!! Simply amazing hotel. We only stayed one night and wish we could have stayed a week! It was absolutely gorgeous with a beautifully decorated room with a sitting area with a fireplace, a gorgeous bathroom (especially the tiled shower) and our very own courtyard. Waiting for us upon arrival was a fruit, cheese and snack platter. Such a nice... More

This was my third stay. My room was more modern than the previous ones. The first time I stayed here they still had "steam showers" in every room. At bedtime, I realized I had forgotten my book, so picked up Mel's book in the room. If you're a fan of the hotel as I am, read the book. If you... More
