We stopped in Palm Springs for two nights on our travels. We had an upstairs room which was basic but very clean. It was all we needed as we don't need many bells and whistles. My only complaint is the noisy AC unit. Holly cow. Sounds like a rock grinder. I will be back but hope that is fixed next... More

Was headed to Coachella Festival....went to hotels.com to book a room where we could dwell in the sun before heading out in the desert. What hotels.com did not inform, was that is is a all nude hotels, and that you can not enter the pools area and Public Spaces With cloths on. So please. Let People know before they do... More

If you are looking for a natural way to enjoy Palm Springs, this is it: quiet, peaceful, private. The ONLY goal one should have when visiting this place is relaxation. Conveniently located within walking distance of main street and its varied shopping and dining establishments, this property is a truly a hidden gem. Bring a book. Take a nap in... More

I was slightly skeptical, but I had a nice visit at the resort. The grounds were very well maintained and the conversations were very lively and almost everyone was uber friendly. I met a nice couple from the state of Washington and a rowdy couple from Canada-rowdy in a good way. I will definitely return....without a doubt. After dark at... More

DSR is most definitely our home away from home. It gives us a chance to lose the kids for a bit, unwind, and have some fun! We tried other C/O places in Palm Springs but nothing comes close to this property. The people we meet there is what really makes it special. I know there are reviewers that claim it's... More

We'll start by sharing the negative -- this ain't no party place. Having said that, this is really Heaven on Earth. If you want to de-stress, go to Desert Sun Resort. Really. If you want to truly relax -- naked -- go to this place. This is a place where couples can connect without worry about who the hell is... More

We arrived on a Wed and immediately felt welcome. Hotel / pool was not too crowded. It got full for Fri / Sat. They had activities for St. Patrick's Day, which was nice touch. Other couples were friendly and easy to talk to. The rooms are fairly basic but have been updated and are nice since most of the time... More

While our home is being hit with record cold we are basking in the Palm Springs sunshine. We have met some wonderful people here. The conversation in the hot tub is sparkling with the exciting experiences of a Coast Guard captain, a retired mogul in the network industry, a newly wed couple spending the first night of their honeymoon here,... This was our second stay and we found it to be more enjoyable this time. Our first visit was over a major holiday weekend and the resort was full. A lot of the crowd seemed to know each other and we found the atmosphere to be a little "cliquey". This time was completely different--a smaller crowd and most of the... More

We just left Desert Sun and we were both sad to leave. We are new to the clothing optional resorts so I was a little nervous about what to expect. After about five minutes all my fears were set aside, everyone was so nice. What a relaxing weekend we had! The grounds are beautiful we walked around and it just... More
