Checked in early evening and although, the room was very nice, it overlooked a busy street and I asked for a mountain view room. The front desk service was not friendly and said this is all they had and said requesting rooms is not a guarantee. I live in the midwest and booked months ago requesting a mountain view room.... This was my 3rd time staying at this Hotel and I have to say its gets better every time. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the desert area. We ate at Mikados and it was excellent as well.

So, I plan a weekend getaway with some girlfriends. The plan was go to the desert, sit by the pool, spend a day at the spa and unwind.... What actually happened: We arrived in the afternoon and I was immediately struck by the list of "rules" given to me at check in. These included things like don't bring a cooler... More

This hotel stay was a surprise from my family and it was truly a special weekend. The lobby was so pretty and huge! My room was spacious and luxurious and all the staff were courteous. We all had a memorable time.

If you are staying at the villas to accommodate your large group and planning on relaxing at the JW pool, book elsewhere! We are here this weekend celebrating a birthday with 12 twenty somethings who were planning on purchasing food and beverages at the main pool and spending quality time together. Unfortunately, after paying almost a thousand dollars, we were... More

I stayed at the JW Marriott in Palm Desert for 2 days in August 2012 and I wish I could've stayed longer! The property itself was so beautiful and the staff was some of the friendliest and best that I've ever experienced. The pools were great and fun with music playing and delicious drinks from the bar. We ate at... More

Just stayed at the JW Marriott Resort & Spa in Palm Desert. The complex is huge and complex! Had to wait at the reception, no big deal, and the person gave us a site map to our room (7248) which we thought would be no problem. (Two college graduates, how hard can it be?) We got our overnight luggage and... More

I have nothing new to add with regard to the crazy partying that happens on the weekends. I am only glad that there is a kid friendly pool that caters to families. Did not enjoy being woken up at 3:00 a.m. with loud, enebriated people talking loudly outside of your room. Even though I love this property and have been... More

The people who work here are nice when everything is fine. But when my friend almost passed out on the hotels rental bikes, they told us they couldn't send anyone to pick us up at first and then told us they couldn't return our bikes for us as my friend was almost passed out. We waited 15 minutes and then... More

We booked this hotel for its pools and beautiful environment. Depending on your type of party, we recommend timing your stay during the week if it's for a family and on the weekend if you want to party with a bunch of crazies. Unfortunately, we booked from a Friday to a Tuesday and there was a world of difference depending... More
