We stayed here 17 years ago and came back for a nostalgia trip. Back then it was truly spectacular, now it's just big and impersonal. Room was huge, but it had a locked door to the neighbouring room which meant a lot of noise and overheard conversations and toilet flushing!! Also disappointed in the breakfast. Traveling to the area is a breeze, all roads lead to Palm Desert if you drive west that is. When we arrived, the calm resort vibe as evident. Met Mr. Marriott himself in the lobby... doing a tour. This is very large and extensive 4 star facility with full amentities. Everything is very spread out but stll an amazing 20+ year faciltiy.
