Our experience with Mojave Resort is similar to previous guests. The "resort" is an old renovated motel. The renovation was excellent. Someone put a lot of thought into creating a nice place with what they had to work with. The public areas are clean, well organized, people friendly, and pleasant. The rooms are nicely decorated with cute little touches through-out.... More

The Mojave is a small 'resort' near the downtown strip of Palm Desert. It's in a residential area, surrounded by single-family homes, yet a short walk to Tiffany-type shopping. There's no big sign .... I needed my Google map print-out to find the Mohave. From the outside it is NOT impressive .. sort of looks like a tacky road motel... More

I loved this place. I went during one of the hottest weekends ever, but I was looking to just relax and get out of the big city. I got there and was shown to our room, which I loved. Very spacious and clean. The best was the privacy. And I loved the breakfast. The amenities were wonderful. Shampoos, conditioners and... More

I decided to stay for one night at Mojave Resort after checking out Tripadvisor to find a place I've never been before. I am a Palm Desert local resident, but had a flood at my home and needed to vacate the premises for awhile, and decided to do one night at the Mojave. Like others, I was very skeptical when... More

My wife and I stayed at the Mojave resort as a pit stop in the way back from a road trip to Napa, CA. I had found Mojave on TripAdvisor and saw that the reviews were very good and it lived up to the expectations! Not only is this place nicely renovated, comfortable and well staffed, but it is also... Just spent 3 days at the Mojave Resort & was very pleased. As was stated by another reviewer, this is not a 5-star luxury resort, but a small, clean, & very comfortable oasis in the desert. There were three of us staying in our room, which was good sized and felt very roomy. The 2 queen beds and the bedding... More

After reading previous reviews I have to say that you should really ratchet your expectations down a bit when coming to this hotel. It's nicely situated off the Paseo. It is a nice re-do of a quaint old 40's motel... the colors and styling are fun and funky. The rooms are clean. The courtyard is a good size with lovely... More

My husband and I stay the Mojave once every year or so. Being from Portland, we are generally desperate to escape the winter doldrums, which sometimes last until nearly June. Palm Desert is such an oasis for us. We just love it! We also love the Mojave. The staff/proximity to El Paseo/quiet and lovely pool area complete with burgeoning fruit... More

We stayed an extra two days, six in all, because we found this accommodation so inviting. Meticulous upkeep of rooms and grounds. Lovely custom 50s-style furniture. Quiet and calming with all rooms looking inward on the lovely mature garden, pool, and spa. Yet only two blocks from El Paseo restaurants and stores. With so much in this area requiring a... More

This little place is perfect for the weekend or week getaway. No open your door and walk down a huge hallway to the pool, it's right out side your door.Yes, this is not luxury at it's finest, but if you love old craftsman style resort it's perfect. The new owners I have learned, have spend the last two years renovating. We stay...
