My Family and I had a great time at this resort. Our rooms were very clean and spacious. The activity center was nice for the kids with arts, craft, arcade and Wii. The pool area was big and at night they showed kid movies by the pool. This was a big resort with plenty to do. more

We were very lucky to get such great weather while we were in Palm Desert and had a great experience throughout our stay. If you can get a room in the new "Enclaves" portion of Shadow Ridge I recommend it. It is brand new in 2009, nice pool, flat screens and dvd players in each of the rooms, and just... more

Stayed at Shadow Ridge for the weekend in a one bedroom villa. The place was very clean, just beautiful inside. It was big enough for a family of four, but someone will have to sleep on a pull out sofa. Stainless steel appliances, marble counters, huge walk-in shower were just a few of the nice features. We were lucky to... more

The room is spacious enough for four, but we had cockroach issues in both bathrooms, a golf lesson fiasco, and poolside grill service needs improvement. Marriott is capable of so much more. Why would we spend tens of thousands on a time share here, when they cannot get the basic first stay right? Very disappointed! more

Marriott which has been a superior company and offers a good product really has dropped the ball on this property. I didn't stay her but my parents did, I stayed elsewhere. However I stopped by to see them, upon doing this I took my two small dogs out of thier kennel in the back of my truck to take them... more

Being a multiple unit owner for many years I am finding that the Villas are becoming very worn. The carpets are dirty and worn which set the tone for the entire unit. more

This is a really nice place. I've been back 3 times since this trip. The studio room is a bit small so I recommend a 1 or 2 bedroom. Also, I recommend the top floor so you don't get noisy upstairs neighbours! more

We arrived to the Villages and our room was infested with the GIANT dead bugs!! There were cob webs and spiders all over and the shower must have had at least 5 dead Giant roach bug things. Of course I complained. They insisted they had no other rooms. After much complaining, they moved us directly upstairs. Not as bad, but... more

We just returned from a one week stay at the Shadow Ridge. As previous owners of three Marriott timeshares we were sorely disappointed. Upon check in, the clerk said to us when we requested assistance with luggage that "This isn't a hotel". We have a timeshare in Royal Resorts in Cancun, and have had many positive experiences at other timeshares... more

We are owners at this property, but, have not been in several years. The place has gone down hill by miles. The concierge was less than helpful in most things we asked for, including appoinments at the Spa. We got a call from the "marketplace staff" letting us know that no one would be getting back to us, they were... more
