We stayed at Casa Larrea for two nights in November 2014. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. I made the reservations on their web site and received an email with all of the confirmation details. I had indicated that we would arrive late, close to 10pm. On the day of our stay, it looked like we might be late because... More

On vacation I like fun, a nice pool and a safe place to sleep. I hate resort fees .I found Casa Larrea and Kim I have found a perfect place to visit Palm Desert. I walked to Pacifica and great shopping . My visit was made better by the inviting hosts and generous breakfast. Can't wait to return. Went to... More

Just another feather in the cap of Kim the proprietor. Everything I've read in a positive light about her warmth and hospitality is true in spades. Upon my arrival she offered to drive me to the grocery store so that I could stock up on a few things. And all during my stay she made me feel extremely welcome. I... More

Over memorial day weekend me and my boyfriend stayed at the very small and quaint Casa Larrea Inn. We checked in with the owner Kim and she seemed nice enough however, we soon came to realize that the owner was very unwelcoming, and I really hate to throw words like this around but she exhibited the behavior of someone who... We have had the privilege of providing hospitality to guests from all around the world and from a wide diversity of backgrounds. And it is our great pleasure to do so. Regarding the friends of the reviewer, Casa Larrea Inn has a policy of 'guests-only' using the pool, courtyard and bbq areas. This applies to everyone equally. Many hotels have... More

Quiet! By 10:00 pm all noise stops. Wonderful salt water pool and hot tub. Comfortable rooms, some with kitchens. Have been going there for over 5 years and always enjoy it. Close to shopping area and great restaurants. Great continental breakfast.

We just spent the weekend at Casa Larrea and found it just about perfect! It was so quiet and the rooms were really big. We enjoyed Kim (owner and operator) so much and she made us feel so welcome. The rooms have a kitchen and the beds were so comfortable. The courtyard and pool was perfect and relaxing. We walked... More

I've stayed twice at Casa Larrea. It's a great location, conveniently located to lots of places in the valley, and just a short block from El Paseo. Rooms are large, comfortable and clean. As others have noted, they're not fancy, but they're quite nice. It's a bonus to have a kitchen (fully equipped). While the soundproofing between rooms is fine,... More

We stayed at here last week for 2 nights before heading off to Vegas. The room was very comfortable, excellent continental breakfast and great location. Kim was there to meet us on arrival and very helpful recommending restaurants etc. The shops and restaurants are just a 5 minute walk away. We had read all the good recommendations about the Inn... A warm welcome from Kim, a clean and comfy room, and friendly other guests made our one night stay enjoyable. My sister and I were there in July, and while the pool area was inviting, it was so hot we remained in our air conditioned room! Located on a quiet street, eclectic decoration adds to the charm of this hotel.... More

My wife and I were in need of a weekend getaway and I found this place through TripAdvisor. It's an older property but well cared for and the rates were excellent. The location is prime - one block off El Paseo, the major, upscale shopping venue and just a couple blocks off Highway 111. A large crystal pool is at... More
