This is a perfect place for a long weekend or extended stay. Each room feels like a cute apartment and you really feel at home with the kitchen & fridge which allows you to make your own meals. There is a private patio for each room, which we didn't use, but it was nice to have! The owners are friendly... More

I have been staying at this Inn since the 1980s. It has changed owners a few times. The current owner, Kim, makes Casa Larrea the main reason I go back. She has made this place very special. It is quiet, very comfortable, incredibly friendly and guests are like-minded, older folks who end up being new friends. I'm a widow and... More

Ok if you love the desert, this is the place to stay. My wife and I love this place. The rooms are clean and neat, grounds are beautifully manicured and the pool is awesome. With all the rooms wrapped around the pool and large patio courtyard and walking distance to some of the best shopping and restaurants in the area.... More

What a nice find just behind El Paseo Drive, The setting is very quiet, unassuming and warm. The location is perfect to walk everywhere to discover all the great food and beverage happy hours. Beautiful area to walk and just leave the car behind to get to your destination. I enjoyed the quaint 50's look and not having to go... More

What a great surprise!! My wife and I spent a couple of nights at this little charmer to decompress after New Year's. It is so quaint almost kitschy, but in a good way. Very laid back, old school design with a small number of rooms and a great location just one block off El Paseo. The room was comfortable with... More

Stayed here for 2 nights to relax after a photography workshop at the Salton Sea. I was greeted warmly by Allen, who was manning the front desk....loved my room - huge bed - almost up to my hip - so comfy - missed breakfast the first morning because I couldn't get up! I was in #16 - had stand-up shower,... More

We stayed at Casa Larrea for two nights in November 2014. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. I made the reservations on their web site and received an email with all of the confirmation details. I had indicated that we would arrive late, close to 10pm. On the day of our stay, it looked like we might be late because... More

Just another feather in the cap of Kim the proprietor. Everything I've read in a positive light about her warmth and hospitality is true in spades. Upon my arrival she offered to drive me to the grocery store so that I could stock up on a few things. And all during my stay she made me feel extremely welcome. I... More

Over memorial day weekend me and my boyfriend stayed at the very small and quaint Casa Larrea Inn. We checked in with the owner Kim and she seemed nice enough however, we soon came to realize that the owner was very unwelcoming, and I really hate to throw words like this around but she exhibited the behavior of someone who... We have had the privilege of providing hospitality to guests from all around the world and from a wide diversity of backgrounds. And it is our great pleasure to do so. Regarding the friends of the reviewer, Casa Larrea Inn has a policy of 'guests-only' using the pool, courtyard and bbq areas. This applies to everyone equally. Many hotels have... More
