This Inn is a great place to stay and I highly recommend it. The Inn has a peaceful atmosphere and you really feel like you are at your home away from home. Steve makes you feel like family and has a very upbeat personality which adds to the charm of this clean, comfortable inn. My family and I will definitely... more

We stayed in the Pelican Room (which is a little cottage away from the main house). The room was nice, clean, with a gas fireplace that was much needed for those chilly Northern California nights. The hot tub was clean and we had to it ourselves most afternoons. It is centrally located -- you can walk to Lover's Beach, to... more

Wow! We had a wonderful stay at the Inn at Seventeen Mile Drive...Everything was perfect. Steve and Camille are such great hosts, and made our time at the inn so enjoyable. We found the inn online, and it looked great so we decided to go for it. We were not disappointed! The website advertised light snacks in the evening, and... more

Our stay at the Inn was like none we've ever experienced. Upon checking in, Steve welcomed us with his hearty laugh and soon made us feel right at home. His evening hors d'oeuvres and wine were plentiful and delicious. Breakfast was extraordinary and showed off Steve's culinary skills. Steve even made our dinner reservations during our two night stay. The... more

Staying at the Inn is a lot like staying at the home of "the host with the most". A comfortable room, sparkling bathroom, peaceful neighbourhood, great food and lots of laughter - all ingredients for a great night's stay and at great value too. Steven's big resounding laugh meant that breakfast was a blast, and what he fed us was... more

Located within walking distance of quaint downtown Pacific Grove, the unimaginatively named, yet nonetheless cute, Inn at 213 17 Mile Drive is _the_ place to stay on the Monterey Peninsula. As a base for visiting the Monterey Bay Aquarium, cycling 17 Mile Drive, or a leisurely walk to Lover's Cove, this 1920s Craftsman-style house is your home away from home.... more

This review is long overdue (my boyfriend and I stayed at the inn one night over memorial weekend), but my experience was so fabulous that I wanted to share. Originally, I had wanted to stay in Monterey, but the hotels were all booked up. I found this one in lovely little Pacific Grove-literally a 5-minute drive to Monterey-at the last... more

We were pleasently suprised how charming this inn was. One cant help but to feel the classic bed and breakfast cottage feeling while staying here. To simply put it: the location, the host Steve, rooms, all fantastic. The breakfast was mmmmmmmmm very very good, we cant stop thinking about the berry pancake. We have many options for our next trip,... more

We enjoyed our stay, mostly due to the friendly and helpful manager. He is also quite the chef, preparing both a delicious breakfast and great appetizers. Nice location. Just a couple of blocks from the water, and a couple of blocks from Pacific Grove's famous butterfly groves of eucalyptus trees (we missed them, they're around in winter) more

We travel a lot in the US and Europe but this was an unforgettable experience. Steve is an amazing host, chef, bartender, fireman and all round good egg (Speaking of which, his breakfast pancakes and omelettes are unbelievable; together with his hors d'ourvres this means you can miss lunch altogether even if you do walk miles around the Pacific Grove... more
