Quick walk to the shoreline and lighthouse. Stayed in the junior suite and the room was nice. What kept us from a "5" were the stains on the carpet or the carpet pattern that looked like stains. The room otherwise was clean and quiet. There has been refurbishing so the carpet issue may be moot. The morning breakfast was delightful... More

Yep, we are here for a night , took a chance on the name your price option on Priceline and thought we were getting an upscale room but it was the lodge. Totally deceptive! Run down rooms with old furniture, painting needed, the pool was not heated, jacuzzi had green water. How can they keep getting away with this??? Cheap pool... More

The on-line photos of this place look amazing, but those are taken at the Cottages, not the Lodge. We stayed at the Lodge. Kind of Motel-8 with comfy beds. Breakfast was a disappointment with scrambled eggs, white and wheat toast, bananas, apples, juice, raisin brand and corn flakes. The dining area is run down. After I did more research, I... More

My family stayed for one night, and we enjoyed it. Rooms clean, food good, and you can hear the ocean. The only thing I am requesting is a screen door on the slider for the back door. are favorite part was how close we were near the Lighthouse and the ocean.

We were excited to books this hotel again. Orbitzs shows only the cottage property photos, so you assume you are booking a room in the cottages. When we arrived at the hotel we were told that they, the hotel, could assign you to any room. I expressed how upset I was because the lodge property is equal to a Motel... More

The hotel is below average. Not worth the price they charge. Stayed in a room that was nicely decorated, although old. It could be charming if things were taken care of. Part of the wall paper was peeling. The drain did not work properly. There is no air conditioning which was not a problem the first night but the second... More

I was expecting a nightmare after reading the reviews but I am happy to say, we loved everything about our stay. The front desk people were terrific and let us pick from 3 rooms after I expressed concern about cleanliness (thanks to the reviews). The room we chose was clean and roomy, it was quiet and the bed was super... More

Priceline has this listed as a 3 star place. Check in is at 4:00 but at 4:00 many, including us, were waiting for rooms to be cleaned. Our room had mold and mildew in every part of the bathroom, ripped curtains, and rickety furniture that looked like Goodwill wouldn't consider taking it as a donation. We didn't want to put... More

Stayed here because we received a Groupon. The part of the hotel we stayed at was a little outdated. The room was clean, but again, outdated. Also, no air conditoner and no screens on the patio door. So, if you wanted fresh air you had to deal with the bugs. There was only one screen on a window and that... More

We rented 2 rooms for a family of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids). Unfortunately it was somewhat last minute and although it was mid-week $159 seemed like somewhat of a good deal, for the middle of the summer. The hotel looks super cute on the outside, but beware, inside the rooms are moldy and with mildew -- particularly #135.... More
