Booked this hotel for the first two nights of our California holiday, as a quiet alternative to the bustle and noise of downtown Monterey. Weren't disappointed: found this a peaceful, clean, friendly and spacious stopover in a wonderfully quiet part of the peninsula. Hotel was nice, but not worth the $200 price tag. We were a captive audience since there was a race in town and all the hotels were either booked or at least $200 a night. Beds were comfortable and location was good. Kids loved having their own room and their own twin beds. more

1 night stop on a east coast trip. We only stayed here as we could not get a reasonably priced 2 bedroom suite in Monterey, and loved this little Motel. Our room was not ready at check in time. The women behind the desk was rude and cursed because her computer was not working properly. It is hard to sleep with all the noise. I loved the location - a 10 minute walk to the ocean, and tucked away in a residential area.
