We had a wonderful time...it was an enjoyable, comfortable, and entertaining stay. The accomodations were more than expected. And the surrounding area was so beautiful and tranquil. But, for us, the best feature was the camaraderie experienced among the guests during the breakfasts and the wine & cheese gatherings. Everyone (especially the owner, Bob) was so outgoing and communicative. My... more

We have been staying here for years...always with children and love it! They have popcorn in the room. The fireplace is great when it is a colder evening. Love the spas, breakfast, wine and cheese. Always have had a great experience! more

Pacific Gardens Inn is a small B&B with large rooms and larger hospitality. You'll be well taken care of by Robert, the new owner-operator and his staff. He ensures your stay is good and was raised in the area, so knows everything. Nestled in the quiet pines across from Asilomar Beach Resort and next to 17 Mile Drive / Pebble... more

We usually stay in Carmel where we would have paid double for the same accomodations! The area is very quiet. We stayed in 208 which is a two bedroom, one bath suite with full kitchen, livingroom and fireplace. It has a partial ocean view which was a nice bonus! One of the most powerful showers we have had in the... more

My husband was having surgery in nearby Monterey and since we were from out of the area the doctor wanted us to stay close to the hospital for a few days after his procedure. We had found the Pacific Gardens Inn quite by accident but once we talked to the owner, Robert, and explained our situation he was more than... more

We loved our stay at Pacific Gardens. Having a fireplace in the room was really cozy and romantic. The owner, Robert, made excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to do and was very friendly. We loved the evening "wine and cheese" time in the lobby area. We hope to go back! more

You can't beat this hotel for price, location, and friendly staff. We were visiting for a long weekend and found a motel from this web site. However when we got there, the room was small and cramped. It was okay but we quickly started looking for a roomier room. The Pacific Gardens' room was a great size and had a... more

Having never been to the area we were trying to book at other well known establishments with no success. In the process, Pacific Garden was mentioned as an alternative. From our warm reception upon arrival we knew we had a found the right place for us, and were not disappointed. Here are some of the reasons we loved our stay.... more

From the cheery wine and appetizers in the evening to the bountiful breakfasts in the morning - surrounded by the natural beauty of the setting, and a friendly, helpful staff - one could not feel more at home. Our room was large, clean, well-appointed and our picture window offered a view of Mama and Baby deer as we enjoyed our... more

I've been to PG 40+ times. This was my third visit to the Pacific Gardens Inn, but my first since the new owner, Robert took over. Our mother lives in PG all of her kid's families (17 in the whole group), visited her from out of town to celebrate her 80th birthday. I can't say enough about how great a... more
