My husband and I stayed for a week at the pacific garden inn. It was wonderful and the accommodations were clean, comfortable and relaxing. Robert and his staff were always there to help and always pleasant. I would recommend this inn to anyone wanting to visit the Monterey peninsula or pacific grove. I know we'll be back

I've stayed a lot of great places, but Pacific Gardens Inn might be my favorite. After spending a week traveling down highway 101 and the highway 1 in Oregon and California, we were lucky to end our vacation here, where we spent the last 6 nights of our vacation. From the moment we pulled in to the moment we left,... More

Here is why. A terrific location. Really, the best! Across the street from Asilomar State Beach - a fun boardwalk and gorgeous breathing room. Plus the conference center employs a few neat features that are great for travelers. Fantastic staff! Mellow and oozing hospitality, although would have appreciated a run-down of what was available at the property in more detail.... More

Stayed at the Pacific Gardens Inn recently with friends. Great rates, accommodating staff, great location. It's just a short walk to the beach and The Fishwife restaurant is just down the road. Furnishing at the inn are a bit dated, but everything is clean and the staff do a great job of meeting your needs.

The room was huge, but still cozy (the fireplace helped). Very comfortable and clean. I had a great experience from beginning (when the night clerk cheerfully checked me in after hours) to end (when I had a great conversation with the desk staff, who gave me tips on what to look for in Big Sur). I would definitely stay with... More

We recently stayed here for three nights while traveling along the coast. The motel is a bit dated but very clean and well taken care of. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and it was very quiet at night. The breakfast was very good and the wine and cheese in the evening was a nice extra touch! The location... More

Having just returned from Pacific Grove where my wife and I celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary, I'm looking back over the weekend and realizing how much the great staff at our hotel, The Pacific Gardens Inn, contributed to the amazingly wonderful time we had. Not only was our room with a wood-burning fireplace and believe it or not, wild deer... More

The hotel staff were all very nice and the rooms were good size. However, it does need updating inside and outside. There's no insulation between floors so you'll hear every sound that your neighbor makes. You can't beat the location and every day we crossed paths with deer during our early morning & evening walks.

This place is not a fancy 5 star hotel. But for a small older place it is our 5 star place to stay when we are in town. It is clean. They have fireplaces. Popcorn ..wine and cheese happy hour. Breakfast. They are always nice and friendly. It has no view but it is a three min walk to the... More
