A simple motel with comfortable beds and a good night’s sleep. Lighting a bit dim, as in many American motels, but I was only here for being outdoors and it served well as a sleeping place. A usual continental breakfast, nothing special. Parking outside the room’s door.

1. We stayed at Wilkie's Clarion Hotel (WCH) in Pacific Grove, making reservations using the Comfortinn web site, and the AAA discount, paying $80 Saturday, and $72 Sunday, before taxes. 2. If you are a walk-in on a major holiday weekend at WCH, expect to pay through the nose, with your wallet taking a major hit of at least $205... More

I spent Christmas Eve in a room at Wilkie's Inn as my favorite motel across the street was fully booked for the holiday. The location of Wilkie's Inn is in a quiet part of Pacific, within a short drive from the attractions in Monterey and Carmel. The room was smaller than average and because it was on the ground floor... More

We are traveling on Hwy 1 and Monterey/Pacific Grove was one of our stops. We had no hotel reservation so we stopped at Wilkles Inn. We arrived on Monterey in a pretty busy weekend, so find a hotel was not very easy. Hotel is ok and was fine for sleep just for one night. Breakfast was poor, but ok.

This hotel is well located, it is clean and the rooms are fair sized. We had an end unit with three windows so it was light and airy. This is not a top star place but decent place for the price. Close to the beach and lighthouse

I liked this hotel. These photos don't reflect the simple, tasteful bedspreads that were in our room. I LOVED the organic bath products. I really needed the moisturizer after so much dryness in the outside air. Front desk was nice. Our room had a view toward the back of the ocean and the roofs in the neighborhood. The air in... More

We rode into Pacific Grove CA. without a motel reservation for the night. Stopped at the Wilkles Inn. The folks at the desk were very friendly and accomadating. The rate was resonable. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable and we slept like worn out motorcyclist. The breakfast was good. It's right down the street from the Pacific... More

This motel had a wonderful feeling, homey, and natural with trees all around and 1 block from the butterfly sanctuary where the monarch butterflies " winter". Easy walk to Asilomar Beach. Great location. It is not pretentious, but cute and quaint in its own way. Windows and shutters have just been updated The young couple who manages it were helpful... More

Stayed here 3 nights with my two granddaughters. It is not fancy by any means but The location is great. It is noisy in the morning with slamming doors. The room was clean and the sand we brought in was cleaned each day. The breakfast didn't work for us, no yogurt or protien. The price was good for us but... More

Noise was a huge problem during our stay. There were three sources of noise problems: 1) Noise from the road which was not far away, 2) Noise from the people staying in the room above us (the floors need to be fixed, and insulation added), and 3) Noise from people / cars outside the room. Because of this we will... More

Your willingness to share your client's recent experience is genuinely appreciated. Please be assured that the issues you have raised have been addressed. The building itself is old and the walls are thin so they are not sound proof. We accommodate many guests each evening, and the principal goal of our hotel is to provide dependable service to each at... More
