When they say check in at 3:00pm that's probably when you will get in your room! We arrived early around 1:00pm but the room was not ready, but we could understand that, so we took a walk to the gorgeous pacific beach. The room was very clean, the bath tub was horrible, you knew it was clean but with a permanent... More

This was an older motel. It was nothing fancy but it was clean and the bathroom looked brand new. we had a two bedroom suite for about $150 a night which was very reasonable. This included a continental breakfast which was minimal but OK for a rush - OJ, coffee, and muffins. If you need a four or five star... More

We chose this "lodge" because it falsely appeared charming on its website and we did not want a plain, nondescript motel room for our anniversary. Not only is that what we got for $250 a night, but it is/was old, and not in a good way. Also, the "king executive suite" is incredibly small. Off the top of my head... More

We came on a one night stay, with our son and dog, yes it's totally dog-friendly. They even had a few treats and small bed for our pooch. Our biggest surprise was when we drove up to our room, it was actually a small detached cottage, with not two queen beds as we had requested, but three beds. This cottage... More

My father and I rented two adjacent rooms for a father-son get away. Both rooms were very clean and everything worked. They have microwave, coffee maker, fridge. The rooms are nicely furnished. The bed is better than my bed at home. Flat screen TV and wifi. It is very quiet and it is an easy walk to the beach or... More

My husband and I booked our quickie getaway from the Bay Area to Pacific Grove. Found the Lodge on Priceline and ended up booking in for a Saturday and Sunday night for $107 per night in June. Check in process was easy. Staff courteous and helpful. The lodge has probably been around for quite some time. It is older but... More

I have stayed here before and once again, the stay was very enjoyable. The motel is older but well maintained and has fast wifi and even flat screen TV's. The rooms have a fridge, coffee maker and microwave. I'm picky about clean rooms at motels and this passes with flying colors. The staff is pleasant and helpful. I wish the... More

No table. Small room. Doggy evidence. Adjoining locked door sound travel. Pea on a drum bed. Funny odur in room. Trouble using metal keys. Limited choice on breakfast options. Saturday staff totatally inflexible as breakfast would not be available until 8 am on the dot. Doggy neighbours arriving late in evening woof woof.! Would never return. Poor value for money... More

My Dad and I rented a couple of adjacent rooms in February 2014. The checking in went well, the desk person was very nice. Both rooms were clean and they both had a fridge, microwave and coffee pot. The beds were very comfy and the motel is in a quiet area. There is a pool (unheated) and nice hot tub.... More

Pleasant check in, decent off season pricing, attractve grounds, comfortable little cottage style rooms, good beds. My only complaint is the $30 per stay pet fee. It is high. However if you stay a few days,it is overall good value. Nice spot and I would stay here again. The fridge and microwave were handy
