We have been going to the sea breeze every year for 4 years for a golf vacation. The rooms are comfortable, the fire pit at night is always fun, and the location can't be beat. Walking distance from the ocean and minutes from 17 mile drive. Most of all the staff is always end wonderful to us. We will be... More

My boyfriend and I wanted to explore Monterey but were on a budget, we found this lovely accommodation at discounted price at pacific grove. It was a wonderful decision, lovely big rooms, delicious muffins and coffee included for breakfast, clean quiet pool and hot tub. Slept really well as area was nice and quiet. It is a straight walk to... More

If you want a place to stay away from the crowds in Monterey, check in at this motel, the Sea Breeze Lodge. We had a small "cabin" which was set apart from the other rooms. It was well furnished with a comfortable bed and a table for playing our nightly match of Quirkle. There was even a small deck on... More

OK. It's old and not that pretty but it's a nice little retreat. It is close enough to Monterey and just a short distance to the restaurants in Pacific Grove. Everything in the room worked. The beds were comfortable and it was very quiet. There was an outdoor area with a fire pit to sit around. The continental breakfast was... More

When they say check in at 3:00pm that's probably when you will get in your room! We arrived early around 1:00pm but the room was not ready, but we could understand that, so we took a walk to the gorgeous pacific beach. The room was very clean, the bath tub was horrible, you knew it was clean but with a permanent... More

This was an older motel. It was nothing fancy but it was clean and the bathroom looked brand new. we had a two bedroom suite for about $150 a night which was very reasonable. This included a continental breakfast which was minimal but OK for a rush - OJ, coffee, and muffins. If you need a four or five star... More

We chose this "lodge" because it falsely appeared charming on its website and we did not want a plain, nondescript motel room for our anniversary. Not only is that what we got for $250 a night, but it is/was old, and not in a good way. Also, the "king executive suite" is incredibly small. Off the top of my head... More

We came on a one night stay, with our son and dog, yes it's totally dog-friendly. They even had a few treats and small bed for our pooch. Our biggest surprise was when we drove up to our room, it was actually a small detached cottage, with not two queen beds as we had requested, but three beds. This cottage... More

My father and I rented two adjacent rooms for a father-son get away. Both rooms were very clean and everything worked. They have microwave, coffee maker, fridge. The rooms are nicely furnished. The bed is better than my bed at home. Flat screen TV and wifi. It is very quiet and it is an easy walk to the beach or... More

My husband and I booked our quickie getaway from the Bay Area to Pacific Grove. Found the Lodge on Priceline and ended up booking in for a Saturday and Sunday night for $107 per night in June. Check in process was easy. Staff courteous and helpful. The lodge has probably been around for quite some time. It is older but... More
