“misleading advertising to outright lies about amenities and room”

“Crisp, smiley service”

A standard issue Courtyard Marriott just off the highway (good bed, good rates, not much character), but extra points for crisp, smiley service. In that regard, a special shout-out to engineer Alberto Luna for going the extra mile.

“Great Location”

Great location right off the freeway. Easy beach access by car and easy access to Ventura but out of the busy life. The hotel shows some wear but the staff was very helpful. No view of the ocean but the sun and warm weather was worth the effort. The rooms were very clean and tidy.

“..a real value!”

This place was really special. The place was exceptionally quiet, clean and comfortable. The front desk people, especially Anastasia, were as helpful as any I have encountered. The price was the best we found on a 10 day California trip! I wixh we had a 10 point rating system instead of a 5. This would be a 8.5 to 9.
