First time experience. Drove down for a day trip from grass valley. Nice drive not to far. This casino is much bigger than I expected. Played penny machine won 100.00. I really enjoyed myself and plan on going back.

OMG! Huge rooms ,comfortable beds, nice views and a great staff. Check-in was at 3 but they let check in an hour early. When I got to my room I found a flat screen TV, a giant bathroom with a jacuzzi tub big enough for two. Room service was fresh, fast and reasonable. Free breakfast in the cafe was vet... More

I arrived at the hotel at about 1:00 or 1:30 pm. When I was handed the sheet with the room charges to initial, I informed the clerk that I was told my room rate was $89/night. She said the first night was at that rate and the second night was higher. I informed her this was not explained to me... More

We had a nice king room. Huge bathroom with separate water closet, large walk-in shower, big soaking tub and double-sink vanity. All was good except that: a) the shower had no ledge or shelf for soap, shampoo, etc. b) the shower head was about 5'6'' tall so anyone over that height had to squat or duck to get their head... We got this room for free as an invitation to return. It was a very large room with two queen beds. Carpet and room was clean. Very large fun bathroom with spa tub and shower separate. Beds were comfortable and the TV was flat screen. Channels worked. Quiet room on the 6th floor.

sorry i am not a gambler, so i cant speak for the gaming facilities. the room is very spacious and very comfortable. the bathroom itself is about four times larger than my college dorm room was! we had a terrific meal in the cafe restaurant, which is a big surprise to find decent food at a casino outside of Nevada.... Some friends and I stayed at Gold Country for a night prior to picking up a houseboat on Lake Oroville. It is a nice hotel with clean rooms and comfortable beds. The room we were in came with an oversized jacuzzi bathtub and a shower in a very spacious bathroom. Overall the rooms are nice for the cost. The casino... More

We stayed here because we were in the area and had a promo room deal. The room and staff were great. We felt trapped in the hotel, no entertainment, nothing to do but gamble, and odds were not good. House drinks were watery. The restaurant was closed, so Buffet was the only option and the food mediocre. The local lake and... More
