We stayed here for 2 nights in conjunction with the Western States 100. We had a studio unit, and it was much more spacious than I expected -- plenty of room for the two of us to spread out and be comfortable. We appreciated the excellent in-room coffee (there's also free coffee in the lobby) and the free internet in... more

This place was awesome!! The units are individually owned, and they are very nice. The boys had a great time, the slopes are right out the door, literally. I would highly reccomend this to skiers and snow boarders. My hubby and I drove around the lake, gorgeous, A MUST SEE!! more

Very convenient location, spacious, excellent maid service, but if you're like me and don't like the sound of non-stop footsteps above you, or the sound of loud conversations from adjoing rooms, then either insist on a top floor or stay somewhere else. The walls and ceiling have as much sound insulation as paper does. My wife, on the other hand,... more

There were a total of 4 adults traveling together staying in a 2 bedroom condo at Squaw Valley Lodge for 4 nights and skiing/boarding for 2 days at Squaw. We made our reservations through Squaw Valley Central Reservations. This is a full featured resort with Spa, Tennis Courts (only open in the summer), workout facility, pool (summer only), and plenty... more

This place was way over priced even for slopeside accomodations. The room was very small for a condo facility, got stuck with the studio, no fireplace, and there was no privacy at all. The hallway constantly smelled of other people's cooking odors, and we heard the clomping of the elephants staying in the room above us until all hours of... more

This was my 2nd stay at the Squaw Valley Lodge, and it seems the hotel has improved (though I was very happy the 1st time too). Customer service was excellent, and I even received a comp upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite. Big snowfall 2 nights before I arrived, so there was a ton of fresh snow, piled up against... more

Location is great - it's a short walk to funitel, cable car or chairlift and you can ski back to the door. Rooms are spacious, we had a one bed suite with loads of room for two people, ski and boot storage in the room and plenty of other storage and hooks which are useful for wet ski kit. Bathroom... more

We spent a week at Squaw Valley Lodge in Feb '09. Our unit overlooked a little creek and other houses and condos, a pretty view especially on the snowy days. We had a 2 bedroom condo; queen in the master, twins in the 2nd bedroom. We put a roll away bed in the master bedroom, no charge. Housekeeping was there... more

We booked a two bedroom condo for four nights. The property offered a fourth night free deal. The location is fantastic - true ski in/out. There is covered parking. The service staff addressed all requests cheerfully and promptly. Our unit was very quiet, clean, well-maintained and comfortable. The entire experience was wonderfully relaxing, as a ski vacation should be! Additionally,... more

GREAT for the pre-season. A buddy and I crashed here this week for some pre-season skiing before the slopes got busy and found this place to be awesome. Since no-one shows up till Xmas, they have incredible deals though Central Reservations (ours was $110/night) for the regular Queen room, and it says "you may be eligible for a complimentary upgrade... more
