As our week here comes to an end, i can honestly say we enjoyed our time here. Lots of stuff to do even with a kid that doesn't want to ski.

We just got back from a weekend at the Red Wolf. We've been there many times over the years, and always have a great time. The best part is the convenience since it's next to the chairlifts. Upon check in, they will give you a ski locker key and a key to get in the back gate with backs up... More

We loved the Red Wolf Lodge. The rooms are cozy. The kitchen is a huge bonus with the family. Also, the lodge is located right next to the Squaw Kids building so getting the kids to ski school was a breeze. Hot tubs, movies for your room.... We had a great time.

You couldn't ask for a better location. If you have kids, when all the other are fighting the traffic to drop kids off a ski school, you can just stroll over the 150 yards and have the kids there on time, even on a powder morning! Want to grab a bite after a hard day a play, walk right over... More

Always stay here when we are in Squaw - Park your car in the garage - due to the location of being right on the mountain you do not need to use your car. The Gal's are so helpful and friendly at the front desk. Prices are extremely reasonable

We stayed here for a week with the kids and the only redeeming quality was that it is slopeside and right next to the kids ski school. The furnishing were sparse and and reminded me of the furniture in the lobby of a Motel 6. Bring your ear plugs and eye masks when staying here. We were in a 2... More

We stayed in a studio unit on a getaway week. The unit was very adequate, the staff was helpful and friendly. Squaw valley is magnificent, however the view from our room was fair at best. My only gripe - and it is minor - was that the bicycles included in the $9.00/day activity fee were fair. If you are a... More

We had a 1 bedroom unit, which was very clean and nicely decorated (newly renovated I believe). Not toddler friendly though. We could not lock the door from inside the room, so our toddler kept wanting to let himself out. Most places have the latch at the top of the door which would have prevented our problem, but this lodge... More

Redwolf Lodge at Squaw Valley is a charming mountain resort in a beautiful location. I stayed in a studio room this past Winter and also in May and had a wonderful time! The room was very clean and well maintained, the appliances all appeared new, and best of the all, the studio was much larger than I expected. The staff... More
