The resort is quite stunning. While the resort isn't on the lake like so many other places its view up Squaw Valley is every bit as spectacular. It is built up against the forested valley wall, overlooking the ski runs, golf course, wetlands, etc. This is a large hotel with a huge, inviting lobby with a giant stone fireplace with overstuffed... more

I had a superior pedicure with "Sunshine" at the Resort at Squaw Creek. This spa has been remodeled and is so relaxing and elegant. This was a fine treat. more

This hotel is nice and is in a good location. The hotel is truely ski in ski out as there is a lift in the back of the hotel. My biggest complaint is that it's not worth the price. I paid approx. $300/night + $16/day resort fee (mandatory for coffee and newspaper service) + $25/day valet parking. The self park... more

Went to Resort at Squaw Creek for a Memorial Day Weekend Wedding. We got the group rate for the hotel, but they messed up our reservation and we had to spend a fair amount of check in time trying to get our rooms. No apologies from staff. Rooms are very nice, comfortable beds. We got a nice view of the... more

We were there for our anniversary, booked at the very last second, got a great rate. We were trying to save $ so we even brought our own wine to the restaurant overlooking the pool with waterslide - no problem. We were upgraded to a corner suite with a fireplace and it was an amazing stay. Just a 15 minute... more

I stayed here on a Hotwire win during March 2009 for some late season skiing trip with the family. The location and the service is very good, especially the ski valet. We liked the heated pool, although it was packed with families (no room in the hot tub). The room was a bit on a smaller size, but the two... more

I recently attended a conference at the resort. The property itself is nice with a beautiful location. From my room, I could see the morning sun shining on the mountain tops. The room was comfortable, but a bit small. Since I was there on business, I had some work to do and found the desk inconveniently placed on the opposite... more

This resort decidedly under preformed. Staff generally were efficent courteous and unobtrusive. The food varied from very good in the Steak house to unpalatabe in their catering. Several of our party succumed to the exaustive Tex mex that infiltrated every meal! The resort was well underwhelming with some very pleasant suites and rather mundane 2 br. There was no sense... more

We stayed here for a few nights on a trip to Yosemite. I thought the resort was great. The lobby is gorgeous with a fireplace and huge picture windows of the mountain with ski slopes located directly behind the resort. Our room was very nice. Very tastefully decorated. There was a small kitchenette area with a mini refrigerator, microwave and... more

My boyfriend and I stayed 3/27/09-04/1/09 in one of the fireplace suites/mountain view- it was a great room and view (from the look of the forest view, that would have been fine too) Room service is pricey (ex: 24.00/pp for meals). The breakfast buffet is 14.99/pp, but very good with nice scenery. During the week, they have shuttles running every... more
