We did a 7 day time exchange through RCI , 7-20--7-20-2014. We left 2 nights early. Our fault for booking this family friendly hotel for our anniversary during the high season for families. The unit was very dated with the living area furniture old and beat up which for families is not a worry about damaging it. The noise level... More

We were looking for a restful get-away & we definitely found it here! Quaint yet recently updated, the room had all we needed for our week-long stay. The bonus was the beautiful view of the courtyard, snow-capped mountains and even a glimpse of the aerial tram now and then! (We specifically requested a second floor on the north wing per... More

Only thing more we needed was snow. We were there for a family wedding and The Olympic Village Inn was so convenient and comfortable. Our unit was recently updated and very comfortable. Would stay there again.

The Olympic Village Inn is a time-share property, but they also rent out units to the general public on a day-to-day basis. It's an interesting place, since the building is one of the few survivors from the 1960 Winter Olympics. It was athlete housing, and, as I understand it, was remodeled into apartment/hotel units after the Olympics. It's located about... More

You would certainly have to go along way to find staff any nicer than those at Olympic Village Inn. Everyone I mett was very very nice, But Jim at the front desk as well as Lee,Spencer, and Gary at activities always went the extra mile for me. It is true that the units are small & a bit outdated with... More

Free shuttle or walk to Squaw Valley Ski Resort. Accommodations are simple and functional. Beds are comfortable. We've been going there as a family for the past four ski seasons and the value is exceptional. Staff is always pleasant and helpful. Good place to get snowed in because village is close by or you can cook up a meal in... More

There are a couple of units that are "updated", but even those aren't 100% updated. They put in a couple of new TV's and new kitchen countertops, but everything else was left untouched. The first room they put us in smelled so bad I couldn't breath. Probably mostly from the mold in the bathroom that they covered up with caulk.... More

This place was once occupied by Olympians in the winter of 1960. Despite the years, it has been kept up, with added features such as a game room, fitness center, large club house, and fire pit. The Sierra Mountains are just outside your balcony or window. The kitchenette is functional and the outdoor barbecues are nearby and are very nice.... More

This is the place to book if you want to walk to the lift at Squaw Valley, and not have to drive whiile you are at Tahoe. The location cannot be beat as the lifts are close by and you can see the beautiful mountain from your unit. If you choose they also have a shuttle to take you to... More

The number one problem with hotels and kids is if you don't have a separate room, you end up going to bed the same time as the kids. Fortunately, the suites at this Olympic are perfect for the skiing family. They are small but just enough for you two and and two kids. There is one bedroom, a separate combo... More
