Our visit was a case of last minute "take what you get." We appreciated the fact that they were able to accommodate us at the last minute with a room. The unfortunate fact we discovered later is that it was right outside/across from the kitchen for the next door restaurant. It was one of California's on-going hot, dry days and... More

A lovely place with beautiful grounds - large grassy area, various trees and a creek. Great for relaxing. The rooms are well designed and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. A bit tired (the lodge not the staff) looking however. Needs some better maintenance on the building. (the grounds are impeccable). The comforters and cushions have seen better days and... More

I had a wonderful experience this summer at the Point Reyes seashore Lodge. A group of friends and I wanted to get outdoors and do some hiking and beaching. The hotel was very centrally located to hikes, some great restaurants, Tomales Bay (fantastic oysters) and the Point Reyes Light House. The lawn was a beautiful way to wind down and... More

Loved the cozy room, we had a fireplace in ours, very nice. Set up the comfy chairs in front of the fire and enjoyed a bottle of champagne. Spent some time reading in their library and also enjoyed the cookies and teas in the evening. Breakfast was good too. The surrounding grounds are nice. The location is quite peaceful.

Clean rooms with internet but no TV. Hard beds. Horrible, horrible shower. Mediocre breakfast. Owners and staff are friendly. Prices are very high both here and the restaurant next door - I suppose it's par for the area, but for what you get, it's pricey.

This is a gem of a lodge. I live in the Bay Area and have been coming here for 10 or 15 years now. It's a small lodge, in a gorgeous building. The location is perfect for exploring up and down the coast, and as it's not right on the water, you can sometimes be protected from the fog. The... More

Found this lodge online and had to stay here. Very nice facilities in and out. great landscape. Also loved the fresh cookies at night. Had an issue with our little one and the innkeeper Barbra was a great help! We ate at the farmhouse restaurant next store and it was great!!

This week I took a group of 7 artists to the Point Reyes Seashore Lodge to paint in the beautifully landscaped gardens, complete with stream, rolling lawns, gazebos, archways and lovely groupings of trees and flower beds. Perfect for our purposes. We lunched in the charming Farmhouse Restaurant and enjoyed a delicious meal served by friendly and efficient staff. We... More

Way out in the country is this delightful, small hotel It is a little on the pricey side and the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired We occupied an upstairs, double storey suite and it was a wonderful experience, although the bathroom was downstairs Decor and fittings were fine as was cleanliness Next door is a handy American western... We spent 3 nights at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the facility. It is a nice hotel in a great location - especially convenient to the the National Seashore. Comfortable room with a great view (room #7); good continental breakfast; and friendly service. The Farmhouse restaurant next to the lodge is excellent. We ate there at their "Happy Hour" and...
