My boyfriend and I enjoyed an absolutely phenomenal stay here! The room was very clean and architecturally beautiful. The place offers a quaint and homey vibe while still making the stay feel high-end. We were especially thrilled to have a real fire right in our own room! Our room looked upon the backyard, which was home to a lovely creek... More

The lodge is within a fifteen minute walk to the tourist center which was a plus at the end of our day. We could load up on info for the next day into the park. The room has a beautiful view out over the back garden. It is across the street from the Sir and Star restaurant which was excellent.... More

We pulled in here on a whim while driving to SF from Point Reyes lighthouse. Cannot vouch for staying in the hotel, but the bar/restaurant where we ate lunch was perfect. Terrific oyster po'boy sandwiches and polenta-grilled oysters. Everything else on other diners' plates looked good, too. We'll be back.

We check-in late and rented the last room in the hotel which had a little strange arrangement but was great for one night. There was a good continental breakfast and we left the next morning but most people were staying for the whole weekend.

I came to the Lodge over a cold, clear January weekend. I had a smaller fireplace room, and my friend had a larger suite, also with a fireplace. The Lodge explains that the room heating is via the floors, taking a long time to warm up and/or cool down. They weren't kidding! I turned the heat up in my room... More

Old beds, tiny room, indifferent staff. Few places to stay near Pt. Reyes so they figured let's mark it up. $200/night for not much. Motel 6 is way better. Lousy shower. We've stayed here before but there is clearly no upgrading going on or any capital improvements.

This Lodge is not on the Seashore but inland, so don't be taken in by the name. The Lodge itself and the settings are nice, good presentation. The room is your basic, but comfortable room and I feel overpriced just because it is close to the National park. Also, be aware that after having a tour of several room options,... More

The rooms are dated, the inn keeper unfriendly...I would recommend staying elsewhere. If you end up staying here pros include - amazing location in town with backtrack to state park, small but ok continental breakfast, good size rooms and very hot water. Buy or bring a bottle of wine and sit out back. I recommend eating at Sir and Star... More

Enjoyed our stay here especially because of the hummingbirds in the garden and the proximity to the nature reserve/park. Staff were helpful and the breakfast was fine. Cookies and coffee available throughout the day, Anyone who expects a sea view needs to understand that the lodge's name is that of the nature reserve/national park (called Point Reyes Seashore).. AND check... More

My wife made a reservation for a getaway here because they were the only place that did not have a two night minimum. That should have been a red flag. The room was very basic, but that would have been fine for our needs. The issue is that there is absolutely no soundproofing between the rooms and between the floors.... More
