We found this inn in the Time Out guide which are usually pretty reliable. We booked as a 1 night treat or the end of our holiday and were bitterly dissapointed. The Inn was fully booked (why???) so we were allocated a room in the B & B up the room - for the same price of $260. Basically its... More

We had a good time at the Olema Inn, not perfect but nice. The husband and wife duo who run it were really friendly - they found us beach towels and gave us great tips about the surrounding area - and it has good touches like free wifi and local calls. The restaurant is a little over priced and the... More

We live in San Francisco and spend weekends in the Point Reyes area several times a year. We try to stay at different places (see my other reviews), because we simply haven't found the "perfect" place. Value is something you will never find at lodgings in this area, but some values are poorer than others, and Olema Inn definitely fits... More

My husband and I spent a Saturday at the Olema Inn with both lodging and restaurant reservations. We were greeted at the check-in desk by a smiling, friendly young woman who instantly made us feel welcome. We found our room to be charming and comfortable. When we arrived at the restaurant, which was very busy, we were immediately taken to... More

We expected a charming boutique B&B and found, instead, a shabby old hotel on a very busy rural road. Our bath was lovely but the furniture was tired. We opened our windows for a bit of fresh air and were pestered all night by mosquitoes (no screens) and the incessant drone of motorcycles and trucks beneath our window that lasted... More

We only visited the restaurant but our experience was so poor that we can't imagine the hotel would be much better. My fiance and I have nothing good to say about this grossly overpriced establishment. The garden in back is unkempt and unattractive. The young staff is inexperienced and inattentive - we waited inordinate amounts of time to place our... More

I went to the Olema Inn Restaurant for my 40th birthday. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I expected a restaurant with a nice, friendly vibe instead got pretentiousness from our waiter. Everyone else was very hospitable. It could have been because I didn't order wine. I couldn't because I was pregnant. My husband likes beer from local micro breweries. We were... More

After a magnificient road trip from SF (road 1) we finally got to exceptionnal little Olema town...for French people like us this was the perfect postcard from another time... the hotel is charming (but not the people at the reception/bar unfortunately) the restaurant was top quality and the deco so warm and comfy... we had a quiet room on the... What you do get for $200 a night is a good bed, nice sheets, a big tub and modern bathroom. What you don't get is the feeling you've paid at all. We felt like we overstayed our welcome when we came down to eat our "inclusive" breakfast and found there was no where to sit as they had cleaned out... More

So sorry to read the previous review as we had a wonderful stay and meal at the Olema Inn. We were lucky to have a sunny day too. The hostess couldn't have been more helpful and the chef even delivered some flowers to me in our room right before the dinner hour started. The only thing I would recommend is... More
