Great place to stay! We arrived early for our check in time, and they were nice enough to quickly accommodate us. Rooms were very private and quiet and larger than expected. We look forward to staying there again.

This place is not in Downtown Ojai. But close enough. We stayed in Room 6 (casita) for one night. It had a living room, a kitchen with small dinette, and two bedrooms with a bathroom in-between. The Blue Iguana is a little outside of town surrounded by not-great properties, but don't let that discourage you. The resort itself is meticulously maintained and the suites well appointed and cozy. The continental breakfast is a great mix of healthy treats and fruit. The views of nearby mountains are relaxing. The staff was helpful and friendly.

We stayed here for one night while on a road trip. It was a lovely change from chain hotels and the buildings and gardens are beautiful, the check-in staff friendly and helpful and we only wish we had arrived earlier to linger longer.

Service was excellent and a beautiful quaint place. The only downside was I happen to be in the handicap room which is closest to street so it was a bit noisy. We loved everything about the hotel except there were many children there, who were very noisy. We were not aware that this hotel is more family and pet friendly than their sister hotel, the Green Iguana. Next time we will stay there. Perhaps the web-site could point this out in a clearer fashion. Carol & Steve
