This was the worst experience I ever had with a hotel. The room had spiders and the noise was unbearable. I requested help from the manager to no avail. The manager offered a $10.00 discount on the room. more

Our visit to California was for a birth of a grandson! On our first night in this room, the TV and the iron did not work at all, we had to switch rooms for the next night. After going out during the day and having our room clean we came home to find no shower curtain and the bed pillows... more

This place is showing its age - very rough around the edges. Just needed a place for my family to catch a few hours of sleep as we passed through. Price was good for the area but it is definitely showing lots of wear and age. Accommodations we're a little sparse and uncomfortable as well. Breakfast was acceptable but typical... more

Oceanside is an old fashioned surfers' town, with plenty of mom-and-pop restaurants and shops and modest bungalows near the water. This BW is about a mile from the sand, but it is very pleasant and my room appeared to be recently painted and renovated. Even though the motel is adjacent to the freeway, my room had excellent soundproofing and the... more

We had a party of 6 with 4 small children (ages 7 to 10 - we had a birthday celebration for our son and his friends came along). Booked 2 rooms and requested, during booking, for adjacent/ consecutive/joined rooms. When we checked-in, the counter clerk said "Sorry" and gave us two rooms that are about three-rooms apart. So we asked... more

I did not feel safe in this area. We had planned to stay several nights, I stayed one and found another hotel in a much safer area. All rooms have a huge sliding glass door to the outside so plenty of noise comes in the room. Your room will either face the interstate, pool or a road coming off of... more

I booked this hotel through Expedia.com, requested a king-sized bed, upper floor, non-smoking. We stayed there for the night of 5/16/08. I called the property directly and confirmed my reservation, the young lady I spoke to knew I had a reservation just by my name. Interesting. Given the hotel's close proximity to Camp Pendleton, a lot of the guests are... more

Just like to share my experience back to TripAdvisor's readers after I pick once nice motel from here. The motel is great at location -- for a Hong Kong driver like me, just turn right after a exit at I-5. Easy access to Hwy101 with all those attractive restaurants and oceanview. Great breakfast with fun to share "how to make... more

My huband, two kids and my Mom stayed here. Staff were excellent at check in/out. Very pretty place. Rooms colors are a bit outdated but it was quiet, very clean. The bed was the most comfy bed I have ever slept in at a hotel/motel/resort/b&b!! I missed the bed when we left!! The pool was very nice and warm, clean!... more

For a 1 star: Right off 5, 1 1/2 miles from beach. Rooms were clean and spacious. Plenty of room for 2 adults/2 kids in a room. The A/C worked great. Everything looked like it had been recently renovated. They had an excellent breakfast: waffles, cereal, fresh milk, juice. Staff was helpful and friendly. We would stay again. more
