I stayed at this Hotel for 4 days. The terminal for use by guests charged for its use. I stayed at 6 different motels during this trip and none charged. When I complained, they said a lot of people did that but that hi speed internet was free in your room. I did not have my laptop with me. During... more

This hotel and its management team are absolutely horrible. The hotel is right on I-78 so expect alot of noise. In addition, when a huge group of people proceeded to basically take over this hotel with their loud talking, screaming, revelry, and mahem - this hotel did NOTHING. They would not refund the room for the extremely bad night and... more

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for one night before the Camp Pendleton Mud Run. The hotel served its purpose as a place to crash before the race since we had to get up early the next day. Its located right off the freeway and there are a lot of restaurants and shopping areas around it. The front desk was... more

Several properties I've reviewed on TripAdvisor are acquisitions or conversions. Most on the lower end reflect nothing more than a paint job and logo slap-ons. This particular Holiday Inn Express, however, bests even the Best Western in Ontario, CA (which I gave four stars) for newly branded/owned lodging! Although I put part of my family up in this place for... more

We were in Oceanside for a paintball tournament over Veteran's Day weekend held at Camp Pendleton and after much research of the area, we chose the Holiday Inn Express because they offered free breakfasts and rooms with kitchenettes, although the drive to the Marine base was a little further than we thought (about 10 minutes). We arrived on Thursday evening... more

Our king suite was very spacious and clean. The breakfast area was a bit small for the size of the property and the food was typical for the brand. Our room was on an interior corridor but we noticed there were some rooms that were on exterior corridors. The secured doors were often propped open making us wonder about security... more

I agree with most of the reviews...this is a nice, clean, comfortable hotel. Our room was very spacious. The staff was nice and helpful. However, our room (#102) was near one of the doors that was the entry point to the building. All night long, the door slammed each time it was open and shut...at least twice an hour. I... more

This was a great value -- clean rooms, very comfortable beds & bedding, free breakfast & free wired & wireless internet access -- you can't beat that. Parking was a little tight as was table space in the breakfast room but neither was unacceptable. more

Just what I expected. Saw #1 rating for location and saw that hotel included breakfast and free internet. Free parking too. I would stay here again. more

Stayed at hotel one night on way from LA to San Diego. Had late arrival time at airport so decided not to spend $$ on a place simply to sleep. Used reward points for this one night. Room was spacious and clean. Our room faced the parking lot and highway but we weren't bothered by the noise. We walked to... more
