We stayed 9 nights including 4th July. My kids are 18 & 22. I think we were expecting a lot more to do and a more lively place. US beach resorts tend to be very beach focused and casual. The restaurants in the Harbour were very good - Italian (Dominic's) & Joe's Crab Shack - but avoid the town. It... More

Stayed in C303. Check in was terrible. No clear directions for this and check out. No air conditioning at all. Had to call and ask for wifi password. No check in greeting or sheet with info. Very hot and humid with no ceiling fans. Screen sliding door was broken and off its track. Tried to fix. Needs new door. No... More

As you can see on the reviews, there is a huge variation of reviews for NCV. We were very lucky in that we found a 3rd floor 2 bedroom apartment in the C-Block viz VBRO (#52579). C- Block is about half way back from the beach in the complex, with parking directly underneath. The apartment we chose t was perfect... More

We have stayed at North Coast Village before and loved it. This time we rented a 2 bedroom condo F8 and it was perfect. The view was breathtaking and we were right there near the beach, close to the harbor and within walking distance to the pier. Great place for running along the beach or strand area. The management company... More

F210 - North Coast Village unit F210 gets an F from this family. Rather, four D's for Dingy, Dilapidated, Dirty and Dissapointing. The pictures of this unit are deceitful because they do not show the true grunginess of this condo. Sandy Vacations and the owners of this unit should be ashamed of themselves! Let's get to it: First thing that... More

This was our first time renting a condo and we were pleased. Scott and Vickie with On-the-Sand were terrific to work with, and I would recommend looking at any of their properties. We rented a cottage with a beach view. Notes: *May is a tricky time to visit SoCal. We found that there was beach dredging, painting, remodeling, etc, throughout... More

We stayed in A22, which is on the second floor, faces the beach, right on The Strand (the one-way, narrow, beach-access road). We fell asleep to the ocean and woke up to it every day. Bliss. And the balcony is a lovely place to people watch (and surfer watch) while having your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. We... More

North Coast Village is OK, but dated. It's really a lovely spot on the beach and with a pool. The issue I have is with the agency that rented me D304. The united is way overdue for a remodel. Sheets torn, dishes broken, bed spreads are the same one's that were on the beds 6 years ago when we rented... More

After the client had been in the unit for 7 days he emailed us demanding a full refund. His complaints were either out of our control (what happens on the beach) or about minor problems in the unit. The unit is in good shape, it has been painted, with new carpet and some new furniture in the last 9 months.... More

Our family of four stayed in NCV condo #D100. We were very happy with the one bedroom, it was just the right size, much better choice than a hotel room. We had a kitchen well stocked with dishes, utensils and cooked meals each day. Location was great, we were steps from the beautiful beach. We had a partial view of... More

My wife and I retired 8 years ago. We have tried Jamaica and the Caribbean, Florida, the Keys, and Texas. But finally we found our "Paradise". We live in Wisconsin, and coming to Southern California makes a perfect break in the long hard winters. Low humidity, great mild temperatures, and lots of sunshine, coupled with the best accommodations you can... More
