We visited friends who were staying here and it is just the perfect location. It's walking distance to the harbor, pier, and downtown Oceanside. The closest beach is a good one. The pool in the complex is a little chilly, but nice regardless. The only down side is that the complex is enormous, so there are a ton of people... More

North Coast Village is an excellent choice for vacation rentals. The property is well maintained and the amenities are great. There are many choices of rental agencies and individuals. Most are fine, but one in particular is not. Pamela Hayes is difficult to work with and often hard to contact. You can see other experiences renters have had with her... More

This was our sixth stay at NCV in ten years. We have come back from Sydney to be with family and Oceanside is a fantastic central location! The complex has terrific facilities with a huge pool, spa, health club and bbq/picnic area. The walk along the beach to the Pier is great exercise and Ruby's at the end of the... More

We went to the North Coast Village for a little family reunion. Five different families were able to secure condos on the premise. We enjoyed the beach and the pools. Perfect location for a family get away. I wouldn't recommend this for a romantic get away due to the number of families on the property.

I've stayed in this condo complex every summer for about ten years with my kids. I love that the rooms are condos so they have a full kitchen and family room so we can spread out and get comfortable. Also, since its by itself at the end of the beach, it is never too crowded and there is a great... More

Thanks for reviewing our wonderful vacation location. As an FYI, the units closest to the water are in the D & E sections with some units in both section wrapping around the sides. Next back are the C & F units, the B & G units are furthest back with a few of the units facing East towards the road... More

6 out of the 9 condo owners I contacted at this resort wanted to charge me 11 1/2 % taxes that are only required for stays 30 days or less.(sec 34 of city code) If you stay 31 days or more you are exempt from these transient taxes. This would have cost me an additional $700- $1000 on the various... More

Mileseeker is correct, on a stay of 30 nights or more the Oceanside City TOT (transient occupancy tax) is waived. This is the same tax that you pay when you stay at a hotel. All of the units in North Coast Village are individually owned and unfortunately some are not aware of all the taxing rules, and sometimes they forget,... More

Every condo here is personally owned so it's hard to compare them. We got lucky with the one we stayed in last week. We loved it! The village is very easy to get to off I-5. The beach there is beautiful! It got crowded in the middle of the day, but the waves are better right now at night and... More

We have just signed a contract for our 6th straight year for unit D27 at North Coast Village in Oceanside, CA. We absolutely love this condo and location. We started out staying for the month of February only. This year we increased this to 6 weeks, and next year will stay for 2 months. Pamela Hayes is the property manager,... More

Hi B and E, Thank you so much for your great 5 star review, I really appreciate it and absolutely love having you and E back year after year, I know the owners appreciate it as well. You do so much while you are there and I feel bad as you are on VACATION! LOL. I love it when I... More

I loved the location of this place! I have to be honest, I had never even heard of Oceanside, California. This place had stunning views from our rooms. You could literally walk anywhere in 10 minutes. Everything was very clean and beautiful here. I loved walking to the harbor everyday and looking in the shops

The room was very nice and had everything we needed for the week we stayed. The problem was that trains could be heard right outside our windows and since there was no air conditioning we had to leave the windows open for air flow. The room was unbearable during the day!! My In-laws stayed in a room that faced the... More

I understand your frustration with the train and I am very sorry that the owner or agent didn't tell you, so you could make an informed decision. I would like to clarify that not all condos in "G" bldg. have train noise. I represent one in "G" and it has absolutely, no train noise. Again, I am sorry that you... More
