This hotel was average, but in an area where most of the other hotels are way over priced, this location is affordable. There is no attached restaurant, so be prepared to look for food. You will more than likely have to drive there, too.

We stayed in a room with dirty walls and a dirty sink. There was hair on the bathroom counter. I was willing to put up with everything, since it was what I paid for and it was in a great location! It wasn't until I found a roach in the bathroom and ants in their fridge!!! We called front desk... More

The hotel is clean but carpet and wallpaper was outdated in my room. Also screen on sliding glass door was bent, indicating someone breaking in in the past ... My big thing was being close to the beach. Yes you can walk to the beach from here but be warned it's quite a trek. There are no connecting streets so... More

Very friendly staff, clean, location is great and the price was great. If I come to this area, I would definitely stay here again. It was recently remodeled, everything smelled clean and fresh. King size bed, TV, desk and table to eat or read, this was in addition to little desk. It had small fridge and microwave. Bed was very... More

Stayed for 10 days to see Oceanside, San Diego and area. Easy access to major highways, main street in Oceanside, the harbor and pier in Oceanside. Room was comfortable, bed was good, shower was so-so, housekeeping was outstanding, staff was friendly. Breakfast was basic but sufficient.

I got a deal for a two night stay there. It had something to do with their ongoing onsite renovation and the winter season. I did not have any problem with the construction noise during my stay, although the highway traffic noise was loud at night. The room is pretty small, but it does have a balcony, which is facing... After reading others review from Trip Advisor, I was brainwashed into thinking our room will look and smell bad per reviewers. This is not the case. I was happy it was clean and doesn't smell musty. The hotel is in the process of renovating. Our tiles, walls, and light switches were upgraded. The mini fridge has its freezer iced throughout.... More

I got a room overlooking the Ocean. A little noisy at first with the train and lighthouse but I got used to the quick. Loved the view and ocean breezes ! Room large with lots of space everywhere. The property is dated with worn elevator, slightly smelly bathroom, but thats why Im not paying that much ! Wifi worked excellent... More

Did not receive the expected service: The breakfast only consisted of cereal, oatmeal, coffee, juice. No yogurt, granola or fruit like others. The muffins were good at least. The elevator was outdatedvand dirty. As well as the hallways and stairs. No wi-fi in our room or in the lobby. They advertised it but there's no service. Liked the room size!!!

I stayed here on a Friday and Saturday night in mid-August so peak season. It's right off I-5 and CA-76 and fairly close to restaurants and convenience stores. It's about a 10-minute walk to the beach and about twice that to the pier or train station. The area is a tad sketchy but not bad, certainly not in the daytime.... More
