I don't usually make it a habit of booking a reservation at a Motel 6 preferring hotels like Hampton Inn or Embassy Suites; however we needed a cheap place to stay in East Bay for 11 days. Most of the hotels in and around the Berkeley area were booked due to the Cal graduation, or the prices were over our... More

We only learned after our stay, that this area is not the best in the SF area, with crime more abundant then elsewhere. Had we known that, we probably would've passed on this motel. Glad we didn't. The location is fantastic, right on the waterfront. We could see the bay from our window. Had breakfas right by the water. Great.... More

This place was horrible! The check-in guy was rude and not helpful. Their credit card machine didn't work and I had to pay cash. The room was tiny and noisy. Bed was horrible. There was all kinds of police activity all night and folks were running from room to room. Drug deals and hookers galore! Wouldn't stay there again if... More

Staying at a Motel 6 is never a first choice, but in this case, it is a good choice. It is more expensive than most Motel 6's, they do charge for extras. This is the kicker, it has always been clean, it is on the dock and a great view and wonderful places to walk. You can see Treasure Island... More

They charge for a microwave and fridge, charge per night for wifi, charge a fee for incidentals and claim that they are the cheapest motel in the area. This is before they mention all of the fees. $89 a night quickly turns into $115 if you want the things that most hotels give you for free. The walls are paper-thin,... More

Busy weekend and all other hotels were full. Happy to have made reservations here. Rooms have been upgraded nicely. Very clean and accommodating. The walkways, stairs and balconies could use some power steam cleaning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We walked approximately 1/2 mile South for a place to dine and in the a.m. walked 1/2 mile north... More

We stayed here because they are pet friendly which we appreciate. The rooms are in serious need of upgrades, which 'I think' they are doing on the centre block. We took ALL of our stuff out of our car. Cops were there one morning, we were there for 3 nights. Staff at check were nice. Our first night we were... More

Got to this hotel after all the other hotels in SF were booked, not a safest place to be. Other than that the WIFI didn't work even though I paid for and the rooms bathroom door was so crooked I couldn't close it so much
