The Inn at Jack London Square is located about a half mile from the Amtrak Station and very convenient to Bart and the Oakland/Alameda/San Francisco Ferry. We stayed at the Inn at Jack London Square for four nights recently. The room was clean and the hotel well-maintained. When a ceiling glass fixture fell off its mountings and crashed to the floor, maintenance and clean-up took only a few hours. Jack London Square, tho, was a disappointment. We spent 3 nights here prior to boarding Amtraks California Zephyr, everyone said "Oakland! where a bullit proof vest". It was great!
