We had a great stay at the Inn at Jack London Square. The outside and the inside do not match. The inside is a wonderful surprise! The place is clean, the staff is super warm and professional. The beds are comfortable and the towels are fluffy. We felt totally safe there and enjoyed all the area had to offer. The... More

This hotel was simple, no frills...the staff..especially barbara was really nice. The hotel is in a great location near some great restaurants including the buttercup attached to hotel and yoshi's which is a great restaurant and music venue. BEWARE - do not leave anything visible in your car...seems like it is common for cars getting broken into and contents stolen.... More

I stayed here for 3 nights as it was a cheaper option than most hotels in the central city. Wifi was free and the guest laundry was useful, but the hotel is pretty basic - but clean! I had a hire car so I drove each day - traffic is pretty much always busy in San Fran - especially at... More

It was okay. Fortunately we didn't spend a lot of time in the room, but out and about in San Francisco. If you do stay here, the ferries to SF are a fun experience and there are some decent restaurants in Jack London Square. However, the area around the hotel is pretty sketchy, including the parking garage. The rooms are... More

The Pros.... The staff is very friendly and check in was a breeze. The parking is convenient at a garage attached to the hotel. The daily rate is $18 however. We got a room on the second floor with two queen beds and it was very clean, updated, a no-frills kind of room but very cozy and perfect for our... More

I arrived and was quite scared and confronted by all the homelessness and poverty I had seen only a street away. You have a street over to the waters edge that is beautiful and then the streets leading all the way uo to the Bart train line is poverty and homelessness. It was a little too unceasing for me to... Front desk personnel very responsive to a third party booking issue that required attention. They definitely owned the problem instead of blaming the other guy. Parking was convenient and secure. Our stay was short and not intended to be a mini-vacation but we did have a chance to walk to the Square and look around a bit. We will definitely... More

The staff was exceptionally helpful. Parking in San Francisco/Oakland is at a premium and expensive. However, the Inn provided parking gratis. Very convenient to ferries to the city, the Bart, and Oakland waterfront. Very pleased with value for the dollar. All amenities are close at hand and all within walking distance.

I have stayed at this hotel at least six times now, and it is consistent with the friendly staff and clean rooms. You can walk to Yoshi's-Oakland, Lungamare Restaurant and the ferry to take you over to San Francisco. There is a great beer garden across the street, too. The wifi is free. There is a beautiful pool and seating... More

The staff were very nice and helpful, and the parking was easy (free parking under hotel was great). However, our room and the hotel over-all was just not as high-quality as what you'd expect for the price. Our room, no. 237, was average and clean, but it was things like the damaged bathroom door and sink fixtures that weren't installed... More
