Very private and secure. The location is convenient, but away from all the hustle and bustle (which allows for quiet walks and easy parking). It was fun to explore Rockridge & surrounding areas, but very easy to highways as well. Suite was well decorated and amenities were appreciated. Would definitely recommend if looking to stay in the Oakland/Berkeley area.

The apartment-like accommodations were immaculate, beautifully appointed and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was "do-it-yourself", but very adequately provisioned with fresh fruit, cereals, juice, yogurt and some excellent coffee. Brenda met us upon arrival and showed us around, then left us... The home is located atop a hill in an upscale quiet neighborhood of Oakland within... More

A great place to stay in the Oakland area with none of the hassles of parking, noise, or limited space. The accommodations are wonderful - a very comfortable bed, well decorated suite, excellent ammenities. We liked having access to the backyard, the privacy of the suite and the ability to accommodate visitors. Our daughter found it for us and it... More

I've stayed in numerous B&Bs over the years for business travel. This is the first where I felt like everything was clean, fresh, and beautiful. The suite is gorgeous and private. As a woman, often traveling alone, safety is my number one priority. At Acacia House, I felt safe and secure....and pampered...an added bonus. I highly recommend staying at Acacia... More
