This hotel is a little bit older but very well maintained and comfortable. It has large rooms, some with balconies and fireplaces and there are pine trees right outside your room. I would recommend it to anyone who is on their way to Bass Lake or Yosemite.

My two friends and I are from England, and had come to California to visit Yosemite National Park. Our first impression of the hotel was great, from the carved bear at the entrance to the stunning lodge style foyer. The rooms didn't disappoint and were set out like a village in the woods which was a great surprise from the... More

Since I have at times have issues with Best Western, I was hesitant about this one. What a surprise when we arrived. This is such a cool place to stay. It has a rustic feeling, but a great room. Spacious, CLEAN, and has everything, frig, microwave, coffee pot and heat light in bathroom. What I liked is at hotels you have... More

We stay here every year on our way to Yosemite, and it just gets better. The rooms, while "older", are very clean and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, and give you that feeling of being in the woods rather than just on the highway. Now they have included a great buffet breakfast. Not your typical motel breakfast, they serve eggs,... More

Very outdoors in a great location. Yosemite not too far away. Room was clean. Little outdated but ok for budget and clean minded traveler. Recommend the bigger room. Breakfast was good but did not like the slow slow service. But other than that would recommend.

We have stayed at the Best Western Yosemite Gateway Inn several times over the past twenty years. We always stay in a two room family suite and have found it to be clean and comfortable for a night or two on the way to Bass Lake or Yosemite. The hotel staff are friendly and always accommodate our family and Newfoundland... More

It was a clean room and it was cozy. The bed was comfortable and the shower was okay. Internet was pretty good too. Its about an hour and a half drive to the park so I don't feel that its a good base to visit the park. Overall, its an average Best Western, I don't necessarily think it deserves the... More

What a beautiful part of the world. From the moment I stepped into the lobby I knew this was the perfect stay. We had 4 adults and 2 children. Stayed in e family suite right up the back of the property...steep hill. Room was fantastic. 2 separate rooms with bathroom in the middle. Balcony looking out over the valley. Pools... More

Lovely situated BW near Yosemite. We enjoyed the quiet and the balcony. Perfect for those of us that travel with a dog. Found a great BBQ place across street and down about a block.
