Hotel was a layover stop en route to Yosemite. Great location an hour away from the park. Only stayed one night as I imagine other travelers are likely doing the same thing as well. The property is actually composed of many lodge-like homes. I stayed at the one that was at the very top of the premise. It was a... More

Chose this location based on pictures on their website (accurate) and price (couldn't see spending $200 - $500 for a place to sleep one night). The room was very large and well appointed with a fireplace, small fridge and microwave. Balcony overlooked the outside pool and trees. Convenient parking at the door. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Good... More

We stayed in the BW Yosemite Gateway Inn for 3 nights in May 2009. The room was large but not at all clean! We complained several times, but the crumbs from previous occupants remained on the floor around the bed and the edges of the room. The on-site restaurant was awful. No breakfast was included in the rate. We would... More

We stayed at this motel for a very reasonable rate for our trip into Yosemite. The BW is clean, and it has fabulous park-like grounds. The pool area is beautiful, and the motel is relaxing and quiet. The rooms are very dated in terms of style, but they are large and reasonably comfortable. The attached restaurant/bar has good food, but... More

My wife and I recently stayed here and really enjoyed it. The rooms are nice with comfortable beds and the housekeeping staff does a good job of keeping them spotless. The hotel has a restaurant that is reasonably priced with good food and some dishes that are outstanding. The staff is very friendly and really make you feel welcome. It... More

The hotel is situated in generous grounds, immaculately kept. The views are wonderful over the hills. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were excellent and we enjoyed the restaaurant food, too.The rooms were huge and there was free wi fi. Loved it and stayed 2 extra nights!

Granted the ideal location for Yosemite is inside the valley. But the rooms are very expensive and if not reserved in advance, you'll be looking for a hotel outside the park. We pick this one based on the reviews here and it's pretty much on par with what everyone says. It's a bit older and I found it quite dark... More

Only stayed 1 night at this hotel. Parked car and had to drag suitcases down a flight of stairs to a very dimly lit corridor to our room. The room was pleasant enough, but seemed very dark and dingy with not much natural light coming into the room. Clean and comfortable though, but wouldn't like to stay more than 1... More

This hotels is good for the price, the location is poor but if you stay in the park you pay for it! It suprised us that it only took 25mins to park entrance but over 1hr 30mins to Yosemite Valley which takes up quite a chunk of your day with travelling. If you can afford it I would say stay...
