This is a nice place to stay to do Yosimite. Great value and very clean rooms. The breakfast is just adequate but the place is very nice. I would recomend this hotel. The pool was great although very cold.

Nice setting, pretty view from our second story room. Loved that there were 3 queen beds for the 5 of us. Did not love that one of the bedspreads reeked of urine, although the staff was quick to take it away for us. Aside from that the room was very clean. Nice pools but they don't have towels there, you... More

We used this Best Western as our base for Yosemite. It's about 30 mins to the park and the entrance for the large trees and another 30 mins to the valley. The rooms are large and spacious . Ours overlooked the road at the front and was convenient for parking and the reception and we had no trouble with noise... More

We stayed at the Yosemite Gateway Inn after a wonderful day at Mariposa Grove. The drive to Oakhurst was about 45 minutes from the Mariposa entrance and it is a beautiful drive through the mountains. Check-in was very easy and quick. There are several levels/buildings to this hotel as it is built on the side of a hill. It's a... More

Ideally located, very friendly service. 2 Swimming pools (one indoor and one outdoor + a large laundry service). The restaurant in the "resort" was a very pleasant surprise.. The only issue is: beware of where you park your car. We saw a sugar pine falling from a tree and damaging a car parked underneath ! the same applies to where... More

I believe they take advantage of their location to charge an expensive rate, with nothing special in the rooms, in comparison to other best Western hotels in the region. Reception was not very welcoming, decoration very special and kitsch (be prepared to an altar dedicated to President Ronald Reagan!!). Breakfast room is small and options limited. The swimming pool, even... More

Stayed here for two nights. Very close to Yosemite National Park entrance, about an hour and a half from the valley on a very winding road (but beautiful...). The room we had was clean, spacious and quiet. The breakfast was pretty good, I even think it was among the best complementary breakfasts we had on our 3 week vacation in... More

As with previous Reviewers we stayed here for one night after a long day in Yosemite, it was great to have a relaxing swim and chill in the jacuzzi. The rooms were a good size, well appointed with comfortable beds, wifi strength was fast. Staff all very friendly, complimentary hot or cold buffet breakfast which set us up for the... More

This hotel offered a great place from which to access Yosemite National Park. We had a 2 bedroom suite for 3 women. Rooms were comfortable, air conditioned and had a microwave and refrigerator. Everything worked. 2 pools and hot tubs are on campus for guest use. Nice to relax in the hot tub after a hot day of hiking in... More

We stayed here after a long day a Yosemite with plans to see Sequoia the next day. Large rooms. Great landscaped grounds for walking our dog. Pool looked inviting. Adjacent restaurant was large and had an excellent spread for breakfast. Good base for exploring the area.
