We stayed at this Best Western for two nights as part of long summer road trip. We picked Oakhurst for it's proximity to Yosemite. The hotel room was clean and large. The decor was a tad dated, but overall the room was comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed the outdoor pool at the end of a hot day in Yosemite... More

I loved this place. We stayed in chilly March and it was great. They have an indoor and outdoor pool and Jacuzzi. The room was very big and clean. The beds were pretty comfy and I liked the decor. It was far nicer than some supposed higher end hotels I stayed in for 3 times the price. The staff were... More

When we arrived they hotel had our reservation for the wrong day and the hotel was sold out. Without even asking the manager moved us to the house on the property at the same price. Now that's customer service. The rest of the staff at the hotel was very friendly.

If you can't afford the pricey hotels and lodges inside Yosemite (or you don't make your reservations early enough), Oakhurst is probably the best place to stay outside the park (especially if you fly into Fresno). It is about 16 miles from the southern entrance to Yosemite, and about an hour's drive from Fresno. If at all possible, I suggest... More

We were in Oakhurst for a family graduation and got the recommendation to stay here from family in the area. We really liked the park like setting and outdoor shady swimming pool! Our room was large and adequate, the bed was comfortable and with a fridge in the room we were set for our toddler! While a non-smoking room, the... More

Although the property is well kept and beautiful, the rooms and customer service was not so great. Be sure to bring your own towels with you because the ones they offer (they gave us 2 for our 2 night stay) are thin and about 3 feet long. The staff seemed overworked and under paid. They were not friendly and when... More

This was one of those rare places that lived up to all of the positive reviews. The lobby was spacious and tranquil, the room was nice (and when they say the place is "nestled in the mountains," they really mean it), and the bed was actually very comfortable. It was everything we could've hoped for at a decent price and... More

We stayed here overnight while visitng Yosemite park. I was traveling with my husband and two girls (5 & 8). The hotel is located 40 minutes approx. from Yosemite's south entrance. The road to get there is very curvey and nauseating. The drive is worth it to go to see the sequoias. As for the hotel, it is older, but... More

There aren't too many economical choices in the Yosemite area. This is one of the few lodging costing less than a hundred a night. I only stayed there for 1 night because I couldn't book something inside the Yosemite Park for that specific day. I think a day or 2 are fine but I won't want to stay longer. The... More

We found this hotel to be very nice and spacious. We had a two bedroom family room which about $100 (not sure exact price) and stayed here for two nights. It is set in a big park like setting, with lots of trees and squirrels. We had a balcony overlooking a childrens playground which our children enjoyed. The pool and... More
