This hotels is good for the price, the location is poor but if you stay in the park you pay for it! It suprised us that it only took 25mins to park entrance but over 1hr 30mins to Yosemite Valley which takes up quite a chunk of your day with travelling. If you can afford it I would say stay... more

We stayed here for $101.00/night for one night before going to Yosemite National Park. The rooms were large and very clean with an oversized bathroom. There are lots of places to eat in the area, some within walking distance from our room. We decided to drive out to the casino in Coasegold which is about a 15-20 minute drive from... more

Not recommended. Found ants and toe nail clippings on the floor. Rooms are in need of updating. Be ready to be greeted with cheesy hand painted murals of Yosemite in your room. This hotel is located about 1.5 HRS away from Yosemite Valley. Plan early and get a room in the park. It is worth the extra $$. more

Recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and used it as a base to visit Yosemite National Park. The hotel itself was ok. Our room was spacious but very dated and could have done with a bit of a refurb as could the bathroom, but for the time we spent in the room this didn't really matter. Free Wi... more

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in early June at a AAA rate of $99.00/night. The hotel is about 1 hour and 15 minutes from the Yosemite Valley and/or Glacier Point. The adjacent restaurant offers good food (I had breakfast there twice) and good service. Also, there is an on-site laundromat. The hotel setting is nice, with many... more

This was the third hotel my mom and I checked into on our 10 day trip to CA. I had gotten lost and had to call on my cell phone and they helped reel me in. The people were very nice at check-in. The rooms are nestled on a lovely hillside amongst lots of trees. We were all the way... more

We stayed at the Yosemite Gateway Inn for two nights while we visited Yosemite. The price for the night was $90. Our room was a decent size and had two queen beds. However, we didn't feel the room was any better than many cheaper roadside motels - it was very dark as there was a tree growing right in front... more

This location worked out great for doing a day trip into Yosemite (we drove up the night before from Southern California). Upon arrival the front desk staff was pleasant and did not waste anytime checking us in. Our room was nice and clean, but we were not fans of having two entry ways to the room. There is the standard... more

I was loking for a reasonible hotel near Yosemite and decided to stay at the BW in Oakhurst. It is a drive to Yosemite Valley, definitely over 1 hour but compared to the rates at the Tenaya Hotel(which also is a long trip to Yosemite Valley) it was definetly worth it. Oakhurst is a cute hotel with restaurants, shopping and... more

I stayed here with my husband. We were in the area to go to Yosemite - its 14 miles from the south entrance and is so much cheaper than other hotels that are closer to the National Park. Not to mention cheaper than some hotels which are further away from the National Park. It was clean, warm, comfortable and had... more
