We were looking for a place to stay for one night to help break up a long drive and decided on Inn Marin. Front desk staff was friendly and the room was cute and clean. An in-room Keurig was a nice touch. Only complaint with the room is that we could hear the TV from the room next-door as if... More

Inn Marin was suggested when we planned a trip to see family. While it was very close to their home, it was also close to the Highway. However, if you select a room at the rear of the complex, there is little noise. Parking is directly in front of your room. The façade of the building is rather stark, however... More

Thank you for staying at INN MARIN. We are in the process of updating our Expanded Continental Breakfast and will be starting a Pastry Rotation very soon. We are looking at doing something like Danish Monday, Muffin Tuesday and Scone Wednesday with a different type of pastry each day. We are also starting flavored Creamers for coffee and a cereal... We had a super trip to SanFrancisco and opted to stay in Novato, because the prices were way cheaper than they were in the actual city. It was only about 20 miles/45 minutes to San Francisco from the Inn Marin. Our stay at the Inn Marin was very pleasant and the breakfast was included in the price of the room.... More

Friendly staff at check-in. The room was nice; obviously an older property that has had some recent attention. Bathroom was adequate, although cramped and with only a shower - no tub. Breakfast was sufficient to start the day; nothing stellar either good or bad, but good for a morning start. I do have to admit to a negative mindset from... More

Although there really are no frills, if you like motels this one is centrally located off the highway and a short drive either south toward Sausalito, east toward Sonoma or West toward the beach. The town of Novato is very cute and an exit or two away. It is certainly less expensive than the upscale Hotels and B&Bs in Marin.... More

I recently took my Mother on a whirlwind weekend trip to Novato and San Francisco. She had a friend who was having a wedding nearby and Inn Marin looked like the best choice from Expedia. Approaching the property, I was quite concerned as it is extremely close to 101, a major freeway. Had we gotten a room facing the freeway,... More

What a pleasant surprise. Our room was recently updated, spacious , immaculately clean and pet friendly. The staff was extremely helpful and in an area where accommodation s are very expensive our room was reasonably priced. The grounds are beautiful and it is very quiet as well which is surprising as it is close to the freeway. I have lived... More

This Inn is similar to many motels my family and I stayed in in the 60"s on our cross country road trip. It is clean and there is great access since most rooms if not all are on the ground level so easy to unload and load the car. We only stayed overnight. The breakfast was fine, make your own... More

We recently called Inn Marin our home away from home during a major remodel at our house. Their hospitality was well beyond the price range in a resort like setting. Located very conveniently off Highway 101 but at the same time set back away from the hustle and bustle. The accommodations we're excellent and comfortable for our entire family including... More

I have stayed in several hotels in Novato. Marin Inn is by far the best. I love room 122. It is a end unit with the courtyard view. The rooms are clean enough to eat off the floor! I am usually a Hilton or Marriott gal but by far the Marin Inn has stole my heart. Yes the bathroom is... More
