This is a wonderful hotel that is only about 35 minutes away from Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. Its location is extremely convenient to San Francisco, and to Napa Valley wineries. As the name says the hotel is surrounded by oak trees. It can be quite dark even when there are blue skies. Room was nicely furnished with flat screen TV. AC was a little loud. Free breakfast was self-serve. more

Arrived very late having been bumped by Travelodge. Found welcoming and friendly front desk (at 10:30 pm!) and clean, comfortable room. Very good value. Discovered it was a family-run hotel (passed on from grandfather to grandson) within the Best Western franchise. Would definitely return here if needed to stay in the area more

We landed in San Francisco from a cruise ship and had pre booked this hotel based on good reviews in Tripadvisor. We were not disapointed. We found the staff informative and helpful.
