Stayed 3 nights at this resort and would highly recommend it. It is worth paying a bit extra for a bay view room. Spacious balcony with lovely view of the water and the yachts. A 5 star hotel. The service was excellent. The staff friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and I have a bad back and I'm 8 months pregnant. We booked a massage at the spa it was heavenly. I can't wait to go again!!!! more

My husband and I stayed at the Balboa Bay Club for one night in November and will gladly return. We were offered a free upgrade upon check-in and the staff was there to please. The rooms, location, amenities and overall service and dining experience was exceptional. We look forward to returning soon. more

We stayed one night here with our two young boys. I thought they would enjoy seeing the boats and being close to the water. We were given a double room that overlooked the courtyard pool. That was a bummer. Plus we were gently encouraged to take our kids off property for dinner as the restaurant is not very child friendly.... more

Beautiful hotel - customer service - leaves much to be desired. Fire alarm at approx. 3am on Sunday morning turned out to be false alarm - after announcement that it was false - alarm continued to go off every 2 minutes for 3 hours. Stayed for 2 nights (Brother's wedding in Newport beach.) Staff was helpfull. Room was in perfect condition. Pool was nice and we enjoyed the stay. We enjoyed the location on the water and the boats and yatchs going by our hotel. more
