After our son's graduation in north LA, we all migrated to Newport Beach for some R and R together. The Hyatt is newly renovated, with some ongoing refurbishment. I suggest staying in the Balboa or Catalina sections. We stayed in the Lido...it's okay, but a few extra steps away from the main pool where we hung out. Great little golf...
