I have read so many negative reviews of this hotel that I want to comment on my recent 6 night stay at ESA, John Wayne Airport. At check-in, I told the receptionist that I am hoping to get a non-smoking room because I am allergic to cigarette smoke and she assured me that the room I am assigned to won't... more

If our experience is typical, Extended Stay America doesn't really want you to stay for very long. We pricelined and Priceline tells you that a 2 star hotel falls into the category of Days Inn, Best Western, etc. We've even stayed at Super 8 and have been completely satisfied even though it was a little worn down, so I don't... more

For me, the setup was perfect- I just needed a place to crash and have a few meals. I brought in my own food and had everything I needed, but I had to ask for shampoo. Don't expect to be impressed, but there is nothing scary about the place. For a little bit more money you can go to the... more

We were in OC Calif. for a memorial service and stayed here 2 nights. It was extremely disappointing, and will never stay there again. It was clean, in a nice area but there are so many other choices, should have left. and wish we had but after a long drive thru the hot desert was exhausted. Staff was nice. However, it... more

I was a little scared when I checked-in. The lobby is very dated and simply ugly. The room was pretty clean and had a full kitchen. The front desk gave me directions to the local grocery store and I got stocked up for the week. The tv in the room was a little small, I think 19". The housekeeping is... more

I truly thought I must be having a nightmare when I stayed at this hotel. I have stayed at many Extended Stay hotels with good experiences, but this one was awful. My 14 year old daughter and I checked into the hotel after 11 pm on a Friday night. I had called ahead twice to let them know we would... more

Moved from Orange to get closer to work. Unfortunately, we were spoiled when we stayed at the Marriott TownePlace Suites in Orange. This hotel is nothing like it. When we checked in, they gave us a room on 3rd floor. The hallways smelled damp and of garbage. Signs of renovating was going on but there was no mention of excessive... more
