The sites are smaller, it is NEWPORT BEACH it is a crowed city. We travel in a 29 ft travel trailer and find it comfortable. They do provide a table. The bathrooms are clean, the pool is nice and so is the hot tub. We stayed our first time for 6 days, the last trip was only 3 nights. Great... more

This was our very first RV vacation with our new RV so I can't compare it to other RV parks. We were told by numerous people that this was a very nice park and it was. The swimming lagoon was great for swimming, rafting, and our kids (9,11,14) had a great time. The sand is dusty and the area around... more

We paid $150 per night. Cottage was small which was ok but bathroom had no ventilation and back bedroom and bathroom both smelled moldy. Kitchen had toaster oven and microwave, fridge, plates, butter knives, forks, spoons. Pull out sofa was terribly uncomfortable as was expected. My 4 year old was fine in the loft but my 6 year old kept... more

When I read the negative reviews on this rv resort I almost cancelled my reservations but we decided to give it a chance anyway. We found the resort to be ideally located for just about any activity imaginable. It was clean, the staff was extremely friendly and the scenery was perfect. Most of the negative reviews I read complained about... more

Loud party went on till 11 p.m. complete with fireworks and a stereo system that was louder than a live band. The 20 somethings smoking dope beside us was a nice touch for our son. The site itself is small, uneven and only fit our fifth wheel although it was supposed to be a deluxe site. For the $130 a... more

We were a group of 10 people in two 5th wheels campers. One was 38 feet and the other was 32 feet. Pulling into the campsite was a little tight with the big rigs. We were in the second row of sites. The waterfront is a small bay- no waves, but big jellyfish in the water that terrified the children.... more

We booked reservations for a week. This is an awful park. The sites are incredibly small and not level. Our rig was hanging over the edge of the street, the jacks were fully extended with the front wheels off the ground, the awning extended over the "fence line." With the toad having to be parked on the site there was... more

Just back from a lovely weekend at the Newport Dunes RV Resort. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the park and attention to detail of the staff. Everyone was friendly and the place was obviously well run. We had a tiny campsite at the back, but it was perfectly adequate (25 x 25) for our van conversion and was... more

If you plan ahead and have a space on the water, this might be a better experience. Otherwise, spaces are small and divided by bent up green fences. Laundry facilities are inconvenient. For as much money as they get for these spaces, I sure expected something more then just a patch of dirt to park on. more

We were invited to camp here on the same site as a friend with a trailer. We had no problem getting in and setting up. The bathroom was close by and suprisingly clean as far as public restrooms/showers go. Yes, the sites are small, but this is Southern California, real estate is prime. We camped with our three kids and... more
