This is the worst hotel I've stayed at in years. We had a cabin. It was clean enough, thank goodness. But the blinds and curtains were broken, jury-rigged stuff everywhere-including a strange little room with a whiteboard and eraser and not much else. But the terrible service was, well, the worst. The guy at the desk told me to put... More

The Nevada City Inn is in a perfect location, surrounded by serene trees and just minutes from the heart of the town. The rooms are cozy, clean, quiet, and the best deal one can find in the area. But the thing that really makes this place stand out is the manager Mukesh, who provides excellent customer service... the people make... More

Manager was friendly and very accommodating, he helped me out a lot on a cold rainy night. The location is ideal for exploring Nevada City and the area. Nevada City Inn is the perfect launchng pad for Gold Country exploration.

The people that run this Inn are great and do whatever it takes. I have been many places to stay and this place is very good. The place is clean and affordable. The place is a little old. My only criticize is i wished they had more electrical outlets for my needs. However they are adequate and I made every... More

Fantastic and inexpensive. Right between Grass Valley and Nevada City. Close to everywhere you want to be, but without all the noise. (Practically stationed in the woods.) The service is friendly and accomodating. Everything I'd hope for in a family owned hotel.

Last-of-a-breed mom-and-pop motel. Proud inn keepers, and they keep this place clean and maintained well enough. I've been staying here for years. It is very affordable, clean and quiet. Now, it's not a Holiday Inn, but i've given them enough money. If you want to feel like your staying in a friend's guest room, this is the place. You will... More

The front desk and other employees were extremely kind in accommodating us, the cabins are spacious, clean, and nice. Definitely a great value for the money. The antique feel really suits Nevada City, and the rooms are cozy and quiet. I'd recommend going for the cabins if you're really looking for a nice place, but if you just need somewhere... More

I stayed at the Nevada City about 15 years ago and remember it being a decent place to stay. I recently reserved a cabin with kitchenette to prepare a holiday dinner. When we arrive I was shocked at the overall condition. People are living in some of the rooms and the building and cabins are a dump. The cabins were... More

I yet again had occasion to spend time in the lovely town of Nevada City and this visit was a somewhat protracted one of 2 weeks. Due to convenience and budget constraints, I booked the entire period at this motel. You pay for what you get: i.e. a relatively clean room, fresh towels every day if you wish, complimentary coffee/tea,... More

Having recovered from my previous "only good if on hallucinogens" hotel review, this was my second night in this town. I didn't think it could get worse, but it went from awful to nightmarish. I do believe I landed in the center of Hell, as one nomadic man gave me the mysterious warning the previous night in the center of... More
