We really enjoyed our day trip in Napa and our stay at the Napa River Inn. The staff was friendly, the dinner at Celadon was surprisingly delicious after we had thought our taste buds had retired from a day at the wineries, beds were comfortable, and Sweet Pie Bakery's sticky bun brightened our morning. more

Although the set up isn't your typical, with everything under one confined roof, I was enchanted by this historic boutique hotel in a refurbished riverside mill. And this is the biggest spot of heaven that we could find. Coffee and hot water in the rooms. Front desk couldn't have been more personable. Room decor was brilliant, the bland colors of regular hotel wallpaper and bad hotel art is replaced by stylishly color contrasted wallpaper and art prints. My friend and I found the Napa River Inn to be the perfect spot to stay in when visiting the area. The hotel is a beautiful historic location with cozy, well appointed rooms.
