My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Napa River Inn. We booked an executive room with balcony and view of the river. Size of the room was excellent and the balcony overlooked the courtyard. The turn down service was a nice touch with chocolate (in the shape of wine bottles) left on the pillows. Great location for... more

My husband, kids and myself stayed at the Napa River Inn on the fourth of July. We chose the hotel because of their excellent reputation and location. The staff was friendly and the rooms were very well appointed. We stayed on the river side and were able to watch the fireworks from our balcony. It was a treat being able... more

Went mid-week and the service was excellent. Fresh cucumber water and lemon iced tea in the lobby. Convenient location near sweetie pies bakery and historic downtown. Loved the free breakfast from sweetie pies. Didn't like the onsite restaurant, Celadon but it is an easy walk to other restaurants and local attractions and the concierge arranged tours easily. Wonderful experience. I'll... more

As part of our first ever trip to Napa valley we spent one night at the Napa River Inn. I really wish we had stayed longer up in Calistoga as Napa itself is not a particularly nice town. Nothing really 'quaint' about it. The check in was fine and parking was free. Apparantly wireless was free but we could not... more

We stayed at the Napa River Inn while touring across the US. This is by far the nicest stop we have had throughout (and we've had our fair share over 6 weeks). We booked off their well designed website as they were able to offer us a 'best rate guarantee'. It was easy to find in downtown Napa and we... more

We really enjoyed our day trip in Napa and our stay at the Napa River Inn. The staff was friendly, the dinner at Celadon was surprisingly delicious after we had thought our taste buds had retired from a day at the wineries, beds were comfortable, and Sweet Pie Bakery's sticky bun brightened our morning. more

Although the set up isn't your typical, with everything under one confined roof, I was enchanted by this historic boutique hotel in a refurbished riverside mill. The room was ample and beautifully appointed. The bathroom was all marble and plush towels and robes. The working fireplace was an added plus! And, the fact that this historic square includes a top-notch... more

And this is the biggest spot of heaven that we could find. Coffee and hot water in the rooms. Front desk couldn't have been more personable. Room decor was brilliant, the bland colors of regular hotel wallpaper and bad hotel art is replaced by stylishly color contrasted wallpaper and art prints. Fresh air windows, wonderful French restaurant, couldn't be better.... more

The Napa River Inn a wonderful historic property right in the heart of Napa. Beautifully situated along the river, this restored building has great views, a couple of great restaurants very close by, free parking, and unique made to order breakfasts from a nice local bakery. The staff is professional and meets your needs quickly. This is the perfect place... more

My friend and I found the Napa River Inn to be the perfect spot to stay in when visiting the area. The hotel is a beautiful historic location with cozy, well appointed rooms. The breakfast spot downstairs is fabulous as well as the other restaurants attached to the property. The wineries and shopping are easily reached from this location! Thanks... more
