This motel is much less expensive than the other hotels in the area. We did not expect to find a room equal to a $200 a night hotel so were not disappointed. The location is fine if you have a car. We liked the easy layout of the rooms and parking. The staff invited us to help ourselves to coffee... more

First, we saved quite of bit of money by calling the motel to make our reservation. Their web site, the America's Best Value web site, and Expedia all had different prices, and all had different cancellation policies. The motel is basic. The neighborhood isn't great, but it's a $5+ cab ride to downtown Napa. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom... more

My stay at the Wine Valley Lodge was the best. They had pillow top mattress which is very comfortable. Their rooms are very spacious and they had a nice, clean swimming pool. Also, their is a continental breakfast and their staff is very friendly. Overall, my stay was excellent and fabulous. more

I wish I had my camera with me. I checked in late, was tired and it was dark so didn't notice how dirty the room was until the next day. Something crusty dried on the carpet, shower completely gross and disgusting with mold everywhere. Other people's hair in the shower, on the sink, on the bed. I have travelled extensively... more

I'm not normally negative about my vacation experiences because it's VACATION, so I try to make the best of it, but this place really got to me. I had made my reservation through their website on Monday, for a check-in date of Thursday for a two night stay. My friend needed only a one night stay and checked in on... more

Very quaint hotel in the residential area of Napa. It is well priced and clean, but it is a bit older with exterior entrances. We spend most of our time out at the great wineries and restaurant, and the hotel was just a place to stay. The breakfast is minimal but continental. The customer service is really lacking. During none... more

Although there is nothing romantic or luxurious about this place, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. I am here now, using their free wi=fi after having a great night on their pillow top bed. The room is plain but spotless, with new paint and new carpet. The waffles are gone, because of some licensing rule in Napa, and with... more

I admit it...I'm a princess. I'm used to staying in nice hotels, but my friend and I agreed that we would try to "budget" when it comes to lodging during our recent road trip. Food, on the other hand, had no such monetary constraints, but I digress. We stayed here on the 19th of this month, and I can honestly... more

After much searching for economical rooms in the Napa Valley, I decided to reserve three rooms for a group of us at the Wine Valley Lodge. The rooms were clean and staff was quick to attend to our needs. The Lodge isn't great but it served our needs. The waffles, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, milk, juice and coffee made for a... more

Two of my girlfriends and I went to Napa for the 2008 Labor Day holiday weekend and we reserved the Elvis Suite at the Lodge. When you drive up, it becomes apparent that "Lodge" is another word for Motel. The two room suite was large and the beds were new and pretty comfortable. There were two minor drawbacks - the... more
