Excellent location - walking distance to great downtown Napa shops,& dining. Rooms are quaint, very clean. This has got to be the best value in the Napa area!! While actual hotel parking is minimal there are nearby public lots available. more

If you are going to hunker down in a luxury room for a romantic evening, the Napa Travelodge is not where you want to stay. If the primary reason you are in the Napa Valley area to visit wineries by day, and eat at a great restaurant at night, why stay anywhere else? This Travelodge is located just a block... more

The good: location, location, location The bad: Reservation 'system' is non-existent, and front desk personnel range from "very helpful" to "scarily clueless" My family booked two rooms at the hotel. I arrived separately, and checked in OK. Our other room, however, got sold out from underneath us (probably to the large, vocal wedding party who were also experiencing reservation issues)... more

We stayed here for 2 nights while doing a Napa Valley wine tour. We left the booking too late, and know that ending up here was our own fault. That being said, here is what made this stay a negative experience. When we checked in on Friday afternoon, there were 2 people ahead of us in the line-up. The first... more

We booked our trip to Napa about a month before. We learned that September is one of the busiest times to visit, which explained why we could not find a hotel. We read some reviews for the Travelodge, which claimed it was a good value for the money. Our experience was contrary to those opinions. When we pulled up, despite... more

I couldn't find anything anywhere around Napa/Calistoga for under $300 until I found this. Heartened by the review from the couple who said they just needed a place to lay their head (which is me as well), I took the chance. Other than the very abrupt guy taking reservations, who quoted me over the phone $50 more dollars than listed... more

This is a wonderful bistro style hotel with some of the extra touches that make it so special. Convenient to the Riverwalk and great restaurants. Try ZuZu for tapas and nice wines. The staff is courteous and very helpful. A delightful stay in wine country. more

Very pleased for the price. Located in downtown Napa. Read the reviews prior and took our chances. I don't know what other people expect for the price (we paid $118 before taxes) but definitely worth that, but we are relatively easy to please since we consider the hotel is just a place to sleep and change clothes. The location was... more

This is about the Downtown Napa Travelodge, located in Napa, California on Coombs Street. This is the worst hotel we have stayed in for many years. At a base price of $139, equally about $157 with tax, you'd be better off at a Motel 6. The room was dirty and extremely small. There were small flying bugs, the elevator wasn't... more
