We stayed on this property late July 2014. After much research we booked the Chocolat room. Upon arrival, the room wasn't quite ready which was fine because we arrived a few minutes before check-in. We were eventually shown to our room which was a sweltering 85 degrees, with no working fan. We were told that it would cool down. After... More

We were visiting Napa Valley for the third time last year and decided to take my mother long, who'd never been there. So, we looked for a place that had a good location and wasn't too expensive, and booked rooms 2A and 2B in Merlot House at the Old World Inn for three nights. According to the website, this is... My husband and I recently stayed at the Old World Inn. The place is adorable and the staff are amazing. The food provided was delicious and included in the price of the room. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Stayed at the Old World Inn / Cabernet House over the 4th of July weekend. This was our first trip to Napa. First of all, I was very pleased to find a reasonably priced place to stay during the holiday weekend. Most of the properties I checked out were sold out. The inn is nice, quaint, and fairly well maintained.... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Old World Inn. Bear in mind that it is a great location to downtown Napa & Oxbow Market but on the far end of the Napa Valley wineries. We arrived early & as they say in their confirmation emails, no one is there except from 3-6pm. So we ventured out & returned later which... More

Our daughter, her fiancee, my husband and I were in Sausalito and the kids surprised us with a trip to Napa Valley. They got us a room at Old World Inn.Upon arrival, we were cheerfully greeted and were given a tour of the grounds and information about different niceties that were available to us such as .fresh strawberry and thyme... Hidden Gem! We weren't quite sure of our selection but were very pleased with our stay. The Inn is old but well taken care of, our room was very clean and amenities were very nice. Pricing was excellent too. enjoyed the breakfast every morning before heading out on our wine excursions. No this isn't a big fancy resort and that... More

Very much enjoyed staying here - have been here twice. The manager is very helpful & friendly as are the owners. They clearly love what they are doing. They made great recommendations for dinner and for wineries. The treats are delicious and unusual. The house beautifully decorated, the room spacious, the wood in the house beautiful. Very comfortable bed and... More

This was the perfect place. My husband and I were greeted with a smile at the front door and check in counter. Our hostess gave us a tour of the public areas and showed us a binder with all restaurants and their menus within walking distance. We stayed in one of the cottages which was just as nice as the... Our room (Acqua) was in the main house. It took some time on the website to choose our room, due to the many differences, i.e. stairs, fireplace, tv size, room size, themes, building, price, etc. In the end, we felt we chose well. The Main House was very quiet during our stay, although footsteps could be heard in the wood-floored... More
