Sorry to write this review since we really enjoy the collection of 4 Sister Properties. We planned a quick trip to Napa in Feb for my wife's birthday and decided to stay at the Blackbird Inn for the first time. We checked in later in the afternoon, dropped off our luggage & freshened up before departing for dinner. We returned... more

My friends and I loved The Blackbird Inn in Napa, California. The house is newly rennovated and reflects an unusual amount of care in the selection of beautiful wood and stone used throughout the house. We found the staff to be very helpful. Breakfast was included in the price which showcased a different quiche-type dish each day along with an... more

This was a Napa trip that was 3 years in the making, and I needed to find a perfect place for my boyfriend and I to stay. Location was excellent. A block away from downtown- so you get the quiet street as well as the walking distance day/nightlife. Really a beautiful B&B- cozy and warm, very inviting, great prices. We... more

You never really know what you're going to get if you have not stayed at a new hotel or b&b before. We were pleasantly surprised by everything at Black Bird Inn. First the service is top notch. They are super accommodating, friendly, kind, helpful and employ a wonderful staff. Secondly, the rooms are super cute, quaint and more importantly CLEAN.... more

This was our first stay at a B&B ever. The location is great and we walked everywhere downtown Napa. The hot breakfasts were perfect and we enjoyed the afternoon appetizers and wine. There was even one afternoon that an owner from one of the local wineries that did a private wine tasting for all those staying at the inn. We... more

As I've read the reviews (which I did before we booked our reservations) I find it hard to believe we were at the same place these other reviewers were. We never saw an innkeeper; our only contact was with a front desk person who only spoke to us when she was spoken to. Our room was very dark, the only... more

Great location, walking distance to the Wine train and restaurants, 100 % as described online, nice and comfortable rooms, helpful and friendly staff. Only drawback: breakfast starts from 8.30, which is too late if you have plans for the day or need to continue your travels. more

This was definitely the best decision we ever made. Staying at a B&B minutes from downtown Napa and across the street from Wine Spectator headquarters. The staff was very welcoming, helpful at reservations and discounts, and made quite a delicious breakfast. We waited until the day before to take advantage of the "last minute" deal where you can get a... more

Busy streets all around hotel, so don't expect quiet evenings. Also, walls are thin so voices can easily be heard. Also noticed that lighting in room ( we were in small queen) could have been better, especially in entry. I agreed with one traveler who wrote that the light from the hallway comes thru the window in the door making... more

Our stay at the Blackbird Inn was OK but it is important to note that it is not anywhere near as good as the Healdsburg Inn which is where we stayed last year and the reason as to why we selected another "A Four Sisters" facility. The breakfasts at the Blackbird Inn were boring and cold both of the days we... more
