The hotel was in perfect location -next to the highway, minutes from vineyards and downtown Napa making it easy to get around. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Coffee is available in the lobby in the morning and continental breakfast at Marie Calendar's is included. The restaurant is located in the same parking lot as the hotel. Very comfortable... more

The positives - nice staff, fairly clean room, decent location (easy on & off the highway) The negatives - its nothing fancy. It is a best western with a cool name. We were under the impression that it was a rustic, lodge kind of place off the beaten path. It shares the parking lot with Marie Callendars and is next... more

We stayed at this hotel from 14-16th November 08, we were in Napa for a friends wedding and this hotel was great value for money in what can be a very expensive area. The hotel was just on the edge of the Napa Valley but in easy driving distnce of St Helena, Sonoma, Calistoga etc. The staff were very friendly,... more

Wonderful place. Great location. Comfortable rooms with nice beds. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. At check in, they had a few different rooms for me to choose from and just gave me the keys to go look at them and decide which room to pick. You get a discount at Marie Callendars for breakfast for each day you are... more

We thought this was a good value especially for the location in the Napa Wine Country. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were in room 301 next to a noisy ice maker, but the staff was sure to turn it off early in the evening which was perfect. We asked to check out other rooms for the noise factor,... more

We stayed at the John Muir Inn on the last night of our Western USA roadtrip. We were given a very spacious corner room which was clean and tidy and very well equipped. We booked direct with the hotel via the internet. Check in was simple and the staff were pleaant and dealt with all of my queries effiiciently. As... more

No, not those four C's--this is not a diamond. But it is clean, comfortable, convenient and cheap. At least I think it was cheap--we booked through Expedia so its hard to tell. more

The Hilton Garden Inn called this hotel for us when they cancelled our reservation, and we were so happy that we were going to stay there our whole trip instead of the Hilton. King room booked 20 minutes before wer were to check in, huge beds, sitting area, jacuzzi tub in room. AWESOME breakfast next door at Marie Calenders which... more
