Our experience here was fairly poor. And for the money we paid, there is no reason to go back. The rooms are REALLY REALLY expensive and we stayed several blocks away so we had to drive everywhere we went. There are cleaning carts (like utility golf carts) everywhere which just gives off an odd vibe. The rooms look (from the... More

Room 250 smelled entirely of smoke from a burnt log that was left outside on the patio and was never removed. I called the front desk for some recommendations on how to remediate the smell and 10 mins later we were brought a spray air freshener!?!?! Clearly not making a difference in the smell we called the front desk first... More

Have stayed at Silverado ~6 times in 15 years and room furniture, design, and amenities need complete redesign and updating. Disappointed - Expect luxury / near luxury type comfort for price but that is not the case. Great location / golf courses but rooms too old.

My husband and I stayed at the Silverado for 3 nights at the beginning of August to celebrate our 4th anniversary. The property was beautiful and our room was well maintained. All of the staff were very attentive and made us feel important while we were there. The location was convenient to traveling around Napa. Our only complaint was the... More

I stayed here for a night in August 2014. I give it a meh. I got to my room and there were tons of beer bottles full of cigarettes on the balcony. It is a nice setting, but too "resort-y" for the area in my view. I would have preferred somewhere smaller and cozier.

We spent 3 nights here for a birthday event. We saw a bachelorette party group too. The grounds of the resort are lovely. We enjoyed one of the nearby swimming pools, which was not crowded in the late afternoon. The room was spacious and comfortable, nicely appointed. We would have appreciated a small 'fridge, but there was none. The shower... More

We did not expect the service, beautiful grounds nor location when we booked the room last minute. When we arrived, Mark personally helped us check in and drove us to our rooms and then gave us an impromptu tour of grounds. He patiently told story after story about napa valley and this specific resort. We were amazed and impressed at... More

Very old resort, spread out over numerous acres. Difficult to get from room to main resort quickly. Shuttle service offered but never showed up. Wifi in room didn't work. Room extremely small (gave us a one bedroom and bathroom of a timeshare). The air conditioning would not turn off, room was 62 degrees - the air was either on or... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights and really enjoyed the weekend, The room was small but very comfortable, the staff was efficient and nice, the spa was wonderful but a bit pricey. It was a great weekend with my beautiful wife and Silverado helped us enjoy the time.

Read some of the other reviews and visited for a conference and wine tasting. Great experience right from check in with Carlton to check out. Suite was spacious and clean, pool ares are great and the food was even better. The main resturant was closed but their fried chicken is outstanding as well as their salmon. The grounds are beautiful... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Silverado Resort and Spa is a luxury resort in the heart of the world-famous Napa Valley Wine Country. Whether you come to the Northern California area for relaxation, adventure or business, find it here. Located just an hour north of San Francisco, it’s all tucked away from the city while still being close to the Bay Area action. The soothing, full-service spa sets the stage for relaxing comfort, offering massages, facials, manicures, pedicures and more. But there’s more to Silverado Resort and Spa than just soothing stays. Two PGA championship golf courses, which are overseen by World Golf Hall of Fame member, lead golf analyst for NBC Sports, and resort co-owner Johnny Miller, 13 lighted tennis courts, and biking and hiking trails on-site ensure excitement at every corner. And thanks to its Napa Valley Wine Country location, it’s all close to more than 400 wineries. The fine and casual dining within the resort’s restaurants pair nicely with local wines. The elegant styling and picturesque Northern California views makes it one of the most sought after wedding venue destinations as well. It’s all designed to ensure the perfect Napa Valley Wine Country stay for any and all visitors. ... more   less
