The Silverado Resort in Napa is not new and fancy like some resorts, the spa is cutting edge and the golf course is excellent but the property itself is older and worn. The floors creak and the room amenities are dated but it is a fine place to stay in the Napa Valley. Easy access to winery tours, very helpful... More

We booked really late so did not have the choice we would have liked but we were very happy that we managed to get a room at Silverado last minute. The rooms are great as they are just so big...if you are staying for more than a few days this can really pay off as the kitchens offer plenty of... More

We just returned from a golf weekend during which we stayed in a wonderful house in the Grove. The Grove is a collection of large homes, in a gated portion of the development. Ours was very large, three bedrooms and very generous living, dining and cooking spaces. The back veranda was particularly nice. It was spacious and comfortable, with fairway... More

This was a corporate conference and I was the spouse of one of the attendees. The room was just adequate. I called to get something a bit nicer but the front desk person was not interested in up-selling me to a nicer room. Not much teamwork going on between the different departments. The front desk and concierge desk were not... More

Initially, the entrance of the resort looked beautiful and welcoming. Cameron made our check in pleasant and promising for our stay. Carlton our Bellman drove us in a golf cart to our room providing us with an insightful background of the resort's history. He's very knowledgable of the resort and made it feel like home. He was such a delight... More

My "stay" was very disappointing. This is not a resort at all. It's an apartment with a car-port, very outdated rooms, and a depressing pool. Not the experience I was hoping to get in Napa. The rooms reminded me of my college dorm. It's weird because the website portrays its property as a high end place. I just couldn't believe... More

Staff not very helpful, "resort" is run down and needs a remodel, room was described as a cottage but it was just a small room. Walls very thin and we could hear every word coming out of the room next door, old tube tv (not flat screen), lap pool looked beautiful on the website but found out that it is... More

Excellent facilities to accommodate firm business gathering, great golf courses, tennis and spa resort. Staff has a very high degree of service acumen. Excellent food and ballroom. I look forward to coming back, rooms have been renovated.

Rather lovely location. Stayed in 2 bedroom villa. It needed some repair work. Staff really lovely and accommodating. Will recommend. 😊 Could be improved by providing local wine selection. This was business event so may be different at the bar in the mansion. Will be staying 3 more days and moving room to mansion will provide further details.

My wife and I finished a 10 day trek up the CA coast at the Silverado for two nights and it was the perfect capper to a great experience. We stayed in a cottage which had apparently been refurbed. Beautifully appointed, comfortable, understated luxury. Service was thoughtful and impeccable. Food very good (and relatively reasonably priced for an upper end... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Silverado Resort and Spa is a luxury resort in the heart of the world-famous Napa Valley Wine Country. Whether you come to the Northern California area for relaxation, adventure or business, find it here. Located just an hour north of San Francisco, it’s all tucked away from the city while still being close to the Bay Area action. The soothing, full-service spa sets the stage for relaxing comfort, offering massages, facials, manicures, pedicures and more. But there’s more to Silverado Resort and Spa than just soothing stays. Two PGA championship golf courses, which are overseen by World Golf Hall of Fame member, lead golf analyst for NBC Sports, and resort co-owner Johnny Miller, 13 lighted tennis courts, and biking and hiking trails on-site ensure excitement at every corner. And thanks to its Napa Valley Wine Country location, it’s all close to more than 400 wineries. The fine and casual dining within the resort’s restaurants pair nicely with local wines. The elegant styling and picturesque Northern California views makes it one of the most sought after wedding venue destinations as well. It’s all designed to ensure the perfect Napa Valley Wine Country stay for any and all visitors. ... more   less
