Its a great place to come home to after a long day of sightseeing and wine tasting. The wine and cheese is waiting when you come throught the door. The furnishings and original architecture are beautifully in tact. We stayed in the Carducci Suite. It was well appointed and luxurious. You almost feel like royalty. Breakfasts are homemade by the... more

My husband and I stayed at this B&B for three nights during our recent stay in Wine Country. Celeste, the owner, does try to keep the historic inn as Victorian-esque as possible. We reserved the Carriage House, which is behind the main house, down a stone path. We enjoyed having the only room with a TV (the Olympics were on!)... more

My husband picked this bed and breakfast for my 50th birthday, and he couldn't have made a better choice. The gracious Victorian home has its original, ornate 1879 architecture amazingly intact and is furnished with lovely antiques. We spent two nights in the Carducci Suite and were very happy with it. It was a stately, private and comfortable room. Breakfasts... more

As a frequent business traveler, I am always pleased with the period-authenticity charm of this B&B plus the gracious Five-Star customer service my friends and I receive from Celeste and her family. My experience parallels positive experiences of B&B's in Europe, Nova Scotia and the UK. What I appreciate is the crisp linens on the newer mattresses as well as... more

Nice B&B overall, but in need of serious maintenance. Had a great time meeting new people there, and the owners themselves are very nice and interesting. Unfortunately, the place is showing neglect, for example, the landscaping out front is appalling, the rooms are musty, dark, and full of furniture that was probably quite good a decade or so ago but... more

The McClelland-Priest B&B has averaged over 800 couples per year as my guests over the last few years. It is very unfortunate that Arizona Traveler/Nevada woke up on the wrong side of the bed and wrote a person attack against this historic Bed and Breakfast and myself. The old saying that "you cannot please everybody" is evident when it comes...

Caveat Emptor (buyer beware): This is the first B&B I have ever stayed in so I may not be the best judge. But I have been in hotels all over the world. We had the master suite, the Carlucci Room, which was the only bedroom on the first floor. I highly recommend it. The room was quiet and large with... more

We chose to stay here after having some difficulty finding available accommodations in other Napa Valley areas and after having read about it here on TripAdvisor. We booked directly with Celeste, the inn keeper, and she was very helpful. The inn is very old world and very romantic. An excellent place to stay. Celeste, will help you book any enhancement... more

This charming B&B is near the heart of downtown Napa - it is a comfortable, clean, and wonderful place to stay. Celeste is a great host that not only makes a great breakfast - but - adds charm and postiive energy to the atmosphere. Celeste also provides recommendations for local winery tours and has relationships with local wineries for special... more

Spacious and very Victorian-appointed B&B in great location. The owner, Celeste, was very helpfull in working with us to decide which wineries and restaurants best met our situation and schedule. Delicious breakfast, and tasty PM wine and cheese hour. Celeste is also well-known at the valley wineries, and her relationships provide complementary tastings at a good number of the wineries.... more
