The Westin was nice, clean, and in a great spot for the winery tours by train. It lacked the usual fanciness of a typical Westin hotel that I love, if it weren't for the Heavenly bed I wouldn't have known it was an upmarket (read: expensive) resort. We were kept waiting 4 1/2 hours for our room, after being told... More

Thank you for the feedback and I’m sorry for our inability to meet your expectations. I would agree that when requesting an early check in, the least that should be expected is the 3pm guaranteed check in time. I have spoken to my front desk and housekeeping staff and we are identifying some areas that can and will be improved.... More

A special shout out to the valet and bell staff; they are among the most professional and personable I have encountered anyplace. The hotel is not exactly in the center of everything but close enough to walk to the center of town and Oxbow market. It's definitely not on the grand scale of other Westins I've stayed in; everything's scaled... More

Thank you and I will be giving our valet and bell staff kudos and recognition for continuing to be a bright spot for all of our guests. I also would like to thank you for giving our future guests some insight on our hotel's amenity fee. While I do agree that a resort amenity fee can seem like a bit... More

We went to Napa to get away from (of all places) Lake Tahoe. We usually stay around St. Helena because our favorite wineries are up there, but we decided to check out downtown Napa. The Westin is a beautiful hotel but not very quiet. There is construction by the wine train station and you can hear the guests talking in... More

Thank you for your response and I’d like to apologize for the noise issues that you experienced. There is no way we can compete with the peace and tranquility of many of the hotels, bed and breakfast and inn’s, in and around St. Helena, but we do have the accessibility to many great locations within walking distance. As you mentioned... More

The hotel is lovely, and small enough to not be overwhelming or daunting. But the pool area was too small and loud with kids and couples whooping it up for their vacations. If you are interested in a quiet getaway, the Westin Verasa may not be the place for you. On the plus side, the location on the bank of... More

Thank you for the detailed feedback, specifically in regards to the noise and the SPG program. Furthermore, I would like to apologize for both. I do still think that there is the opportunity for a relaxing getaway but on the weekend it can be a bit more difficult with the location of the pool and our hotel set up. Some... More

Short stay in early May in a one-bedroom suite. Room was very nice, comfortable and lots of space. Didn't use the kitchenette, but well equipped. Usual Westin amenities - great bed, nice bath products, pleasantly decorated throughout. The only downside was that we were located very near the service entrance - woken early in the morning by garbage/recycling trucks and... More

All in all, I liked this place. It's a great landing spot for your Napa / Sonoma wine country visit. Our room had a kitchenette and was generally well-appointed. It's easy to walk to a lot of restaurants from here, and all the Napa wineries are a really easy drive. I would have appreciated if the staff would vacuum and... More

Great location. But pool deck is loud, the noise increases throughout the day. Breakfast is a low din that can be heard in rooms. Afternoons, you can hear kids screaming at the pool. And nights, the staff doesn't do much to quiet down the adults drinking/yelling on the deck. The weekend we were there in April, it went on until... More

LuxuryTraveler42, Thank you very much for your feedback and I would like to apologize for our inability to correct the noise from the patio area late in the evening. Although some of the most requested and nicest views are on the pool side of the hotel, there is the down side of noise from that area. Especially during the warmer... More

Went to a charity event at the Westin Verasa this past weekend and it was fabulous! Beautiful courtyard, outstanding food and very friendly staff! We would highly recommend this hotel for corporate events, parties or anyone who wants to stay in a great place close to downtown Napa.

Positives: The property and rooms are typical Westin high-quality. Staff was extremely helpful. Close enough to downtown Napa. Negatives: There was a bit of a noise issue from the adjoining room. Expected a better upgrade as an SPG Gold. Bar and restaurant prices were exceedingly expensive. The $20 resort fee will never cease to irritate me.

We stayed here about a year and a half ago and decided to return for this visit. It continues to be a top notch resort. The room, while a little close (bed and dresser with tv are a tight fit) but other than that, it's very comfortable, clean and quiet. A Michelin star rated restaurant is part of the resort... More

We always love to hear about a great return visit, especially when you are able to enjoy the entire Westin Verasa experience. From La Toque, to The Oxbow Market, to the Westin rooms and staff. Thank you and we’ll hope to see you back soon. Be well, Nathan Baslaw Service Express Manager More
